How to Get There
Alfredo at the Blue Moon, Autogragh Collection Hotel really took car of us. He helped us upgrade our room and made sure we were given the best service possible. This hotel has become our new place to stay when we visit. Perfect location and stellar service. Can’t get better than that.
Stayed here with my wife for three nights recently to escape the cold Midwest for a bit. The hotel location is right in the heart of SoBe, so there is much within walking distance - the beach, Espanola Way, Lincoln Road, and if you are up for it, you can walk down to the South Pier and marina. The hotel also includes bikes and beach towels in the resort fee. That fee covers chairs on the beach as well, which was really nice. Throughout our stay, the staff there never made us ask for water. They were handing us fresh water bottles every time we needed it, which was really nice. The hotel was well maintained and clean, but rooms were quite small. We were in the south section of the hotel and in our hallway, it was very musty smelling and almost a smell of mildew and by the end of my three days, my allergies were pretty intense. That's really the only reason I gave it less than 5 stars. The other issue is that the front desk was often overrun, but I think this was because there was a big art event going on during our stay. The bar there was nice and the staff was very attentive and professional. It's a small hotel and very quaint in a preserved building. If you are looking for personal service in the heart of the art deco area and like to walk and enjoy shopping, restaurants and night life with a beach close buy, you will love it here. Last point I will make is that I have begun to really appreciate a hotel that still provides a printed copy of the morning paper. I'm not that old, but I still feel like that is something a Marriott brand hotel should just do. This one does and I appreciate that.
Chris at the front desk, welcomed me with a bag of goodies and a glass of sparkling wine. And my room was ready at 2pm. An upgraded King. He and all the staff were delightful.
This is a lovely small hotel with lots of charm, a warm feel and nice comfortable rooms. It is in a great location on Collins Avenue, close to everything.
My room was not super large but totally adequate with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was good sized. It was quiet and super clean.
The lobby and patio are lovely and welcoming.
There are passes available for Crunch fitness at a reduced price.
Thank you for an amazing stay. I look forward to the next time.
I was super exited to stay at this property, the pictures looked great and the location was perfect. The hotel is old and needs renovated. It reminded me of old New York style hotel rooms, so small, cramped, and old. A good renovation and this could be a great hotel, it's just past it prime.
I wondered into this hotel for dinner and breakfast, after discovering that the hotel I was currently booked at wasn't as nice. Jerome was at the bar serving me fresh cold Fat Tire's as fast as I could down them. There are wonderful outdoor areas for dining and relaxing. As I was eating breakfast I spotted a collection of bicycles for hotel guests which I would certainly take advantage of... if I stayed here rather than just visited for meals. If you want to stay near Ocean Drive without the tourist madness, this is my first choice of places to stay.
