How to Get There
It’s just 5minutes walk to the Miami convention centre which is a breeze as we had 3 days of conference there. We stayed at level 2, Rm 28 a small studio room good for 2 pax. Sound proofing can be better as we can hear people talking and doors banging. The rain shower could be perfect if it’s also equipped with hand-held shower for thorough cleansing. Minutes walk to South Beach and very near to Macy’s! Overall a nice, clean and tidy place to stay in.
This property was clean, conveniently located and reasonably priced. However, the negatives far outweighed those positives. If you are looking to sleep more than three adults - comfortably - pass. There is one queen-sized bed, a trundle bed and a sleeper sofa. They advertised the queen, two singles and the sofa bed. The trundle has a single quality mattress on top, but the pullout mattress of the trundle is like a mattress in a KOA cabin. The sofa bed is not a pullout with a real mattress -- you will be sleeping on the vinyl seating. I was told all rooms are like this. The courtyard was a hangout from 1-6am for other loud guests, and the walls are thin. I was told they hired a security guard for the weekend, but he was nowhere to be found in the middle of the night, and the phone number they provided for after-hours service was for another property so we ended up calling Miami Beach police. I would definitely not recommend for small children/young families, or more than 3 adults who want to get more than 3 hours of sleep.
Until 4am people sat at chairs and a table set up 3 feet from our bedroom picture window. THEY DRANK AND LAUGHED AND MADE SO MUCH NOISE. And of course, the staff of the hotel leave at 11pm, so no one at all is around to make sure the place is quiet. And they know this, cause noise complaints is a big part of the entry papers you sign. WHY ARE TABLES AND CHAIRS RIGHT OUTSIDE A MASSIVE WINDOW FEET FROM OUR BED
