Spacious revamped South Beach digs with a rooftop pool just steps from the ocean
Opened in October 2014 after undergoing a rebranding (it had been a Boulan hotel), Villa Bagatelle is just steps from the beach and is the first hotel venture from the hip Bagatelle dining/lifestyle brand. Thirty modern suites have been revived by designer Callin Fortis of Big Time Design Studios, and now they feature crisp white backgrounds with splashy accents, polished limestone flooring and designer lighting fixtures. The spacious digs offer living and dining areas, fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, bedrooms with Tempur-Pedic mattresses, Geneva Wireless Sound Systems and white marble bathrooms with deep soaking tubs and C.O. Bigelow amenities. Many units also have private terraces. Guests can hang out in the courtyard garden dining and drinking oasis, Bagatelle Gardens, or on the rooftop pool deck. The Bistrot Bagatelle restaurant serves modern French fare, trendy brunches and an art- and music-infused atmosphere.
Flights are available to Miami International Airport (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport (FLL) from major U.S. cities on a variety of carriers.
