Nice Hotel - Great Location
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Overall the hotel is very nice. The staff was very nice, although front desk personnel needs a little bit more training regarding check-in procedures, since there was only one front desk agent and a few guests trying to do check-in at the same time when we arrived. Once in our room, the outdoor panoramic views were spectacular, facing the São Paulo Street. The rooms are very clean. The remote control blinds were a plus, blocking the morning sunlight, you can adjust the electric sheers to let some light in. WiFi works very fast. The AC seems to work fine. TV channels are all in HD and found a few U.S. channels, including CNN and FOX news. The adjacent restaurants and coffee shops in the plaza are also very nice.

Be aware there is no clock radio. The in-room espresso coffeemaker was not working properly. The RF Access Cards had to be reprogrammed a couple of times during our stay. The room’s iron was leaking and the ironing board was torn. The major flaw we encountered was in the shower area. There is a sliding glass door which is used simultaneously either to isolate the toilet room and the shower area. The shower leaks water onto the bathroom’s marble floor making it extremely slippery and messy, please be cautious. The bathroom’s design is trendy but not very practical.

We also found a few other minor details, which we won't dwell on. For the price/value we’re surprised the room was not up to international standards. A few revisions need to be made regarding customer service policies and room maintenance.

I really hope they keep working on keeping the AAA Four Diamond Award earned in 2010. It would be unfortunate to see this award taken away due to minor details which can be remedied.

We stayed here for 8 days in February and enjoyed every minute. The staff provides excellent service...especially Reuben...he is the best, Corner room with great views. Breakfast was excellent with a huge selection. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance

Great hotel

Check in was efficient and friendly. They offered to upgrade my room for $18 but only one night stay so passed on the upgrade.

Hotel is very well maintained and clean. In a great location. Parking garage is attached to the hotel/shopping area. Lobby is a ways off the Main Street.

Room was very large and well appointed. Very clean and maintained. Bathroom and shower were large and well lit.

Buffet breakfast was nice and food was good. WiFi was fast.

Would definitely recommend a stay here if you need a hotel in the area.

“Great Location”

This is the fifth year that I have returned to the NH in Guadalajara for the the senior golf tournament. This hotel knows what service is about. Everyone at the reception desk were very helpful and accommodating, and Guest Relation Agent, Mr Ruben Topete went the extra step in helping me with last minute details for a client on Valentines Day. Will definitely be staying here in 2020.

Fabulous neighborhood

What a great stay! Very nice hotel. Room was clean, comfortable, my & attractive. Good view. The breakfast was fairly indulgent with some exotic fruits and artisanal cheeses and a wide array of fresh juices - to go along with the made-to-order eggs. The staff was cheery and most accommodating.

Most trip advisors would give this 5*. I really enjoyed it but didn’t think it stood out enough to merit the extra star.

This is in a great neighborhood. There are wonderful nightspots right outside of the hotel. Not nightclubs and bars - dining and drinks with music and maybe some live performances. The hotel is part of an entertainment type complex.

I would be happy to stay here again.
