How to Get There
The hotel is located across from the expo center and seems rather unoccupied when there is no event. Access is easy as us parking if one drivers here.
The facility is trying to be upscale but there are many "cracks" around the edges: dreary hallway carpets, crumbles around wallpaper edges, dents and dings.
Check-in staff are friendly. My room assigned on exec level possitively reaked of mold, was damp and the a/c barely worked. I was moved to a different room that was much better.
Staff in the exec lounge were competent but not remotely friendly. Much below the level I have experienced at other Mexican Hilton exec lounges. To me they seemed only interested in getting their slips signed and a tip added.
Product in the lounge was ok, nothing special but adequate. Happy hour allowed one choice of beer and mediocre local wines. Even soft drinks were meted out in dribbles, and not all selections were on display without asking.
Room rates are quite low so there is value for the money spent but this is not a banner property.
Room-17th floor with city view. Staff always polite/courteous. Fresh juices of all kinds! Blessed to enjoy 19th Floor dining! Hilton Staff, thanks Alejandra (front desk), Roberto, Alejandro, Mario, etc.
In the middle of the night, the alarm went on. I called the reception it took them 1 hour to send the maintenance upon his arrival instead of checking the signal he just put tapes on the alarm.
Air conditioning not working correctly. My room wasn’t clean until 5:35 pm.
