"The" place to stay in Guadalajara!
Reviewed 1 week ago

When staying in Guadalajara, the Hilton is the very best! If you are traveling by auto, your auto is cared for while you are there. The staff, rooms and food is among the best available anywhere. The location of the hotel is perfect, directly across the street from EXPO.

It's OK but Nothing Special

The Hilton GDL is exactly what you'd expect if you were to stay in a big international hotel across from the city's expo center. I found it to be efficient and clean but lacking any special charm.

My room was a very typical Hilton room and could have been anywhere else in the world. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well kept. But renovations of the rooms would be welcomed as they're a bit dated.

The hotel restaurants were fine but, again, nothing really special. There's a Starbucks located in the hotel lobby.

Great Staff and ambiance - Poor Rooms!
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

While the staff is excellent as well as the ambiance, the rooms are from 70’s. God knows how it can be even qualified as Hilton. Room was not quite clean. Keep getting dirt on the feet !!! Shower water pressure was extremely low too. Restaurant is okay-ish. Breakfast choice in executive lounge is poor.

We had to call last minute when the place we had planned on staying at fell through. When I called, the gentleman helping me on the phone was a lifesaver! We were out on an unfamiliar street late at night and he called us a taxi to bring us to the hotel. I’m forever thankful for his hospitality in helping us out. The room was great, no complaints. There is a Starbucks located in the lobby which made me so happy after that long stressful night I could have cried happy tears! The breakfast options were plentiful, however my husband and I don’t eat wheat (we do not have celiac) but there was enough food to fill us. Also, no dairy alternative options in the restaurant.

Needs Reno
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

The room I stayed on 15th floor was in need of renovation. The bathroom was peeling off paint, chipped and scratches. I stay there as it’s recommended by the company I work for, but will definitely choose another hotel next time. Breakfast was good full service! Enjoyed that!
