How to Get There
A good location just a short walk into town although a boat service is also available.
The service is very helpful whether in the restaurant or front of house.
Staying two nights, the menu is just right - not keen on huge lists of available dishes and really enjoyed our choices.
Perfect location (you can have a boat from its pier to go to the floating markets and cruise on the mekong river), rooms are nice, very clean and quiet. We had an excellent diner (even if it was the more expensive in Vietnam: 20 € / person) and breakfast included was the best of our trip (buffet). The 2 swimming pools opened until 20.00 are sooooo big, nice and warm!
We stayed two nights at this hotel, which is perfectly situated on the Mekong river , with an easy walk into town. The entrance to the hotel is via a palm tree lined driveway.
There is a large lobby area ideal for relaxing and meeting up with friends, this leads out to a large garden area , with two large pools. There are plenty of comfy sun beds and a pool bar service although the staff could have been a little more attentive.
There is a very good gift shop in the lobby offering local crafts.
The bedrooms are not as large as some rooms in Vietnam but were spacious enough with 2 beds .The bathroom was on the small side with a high sided bath with over the bath shower.
Breakfast can be taken outside on the terraced area or inside. The staff were pleasant and attentive, although some had difficulty with the language.
The food quality was good and a fairly good selection.
We had a farewell meal which was excellent.
An evening stroll into town from the hotel garden is a must, all lit up especially the bridge with locals and tourists promenading. You may need a torch as part of the path a long the river was not lit.
This hotel is ideally situated to visit the floating market.
Spent one night while biking through the Mekong Delta. It was the perfect place to relax and to recharge for the next day of cycling. The pool area spaces were very nice. The location on the riverwalk was great and we enjoyed walking into the downtown area. We loved how many pedestreans were strolling along the walkway and enjoyed the fun lighting. Breakfast buffet was top notch as well. We could have easily stayed here another night.
I had a blast here at Victoria Can Tho. I spent a lot of nights and wasn't enough! I can't remenber an experience as pleasant, generous and hospitable like this.
I am definitelly plan on returning ASAP!
