How to Get There
We just got back from our trip of 4nights at the The Westin. We went in a big family group to celebrate birthdays. Some of us were first timers some and others are members. Arriving valet was great and super helpful. Front desk check in not enough ppl but once it was my turn to check in it was a pretty smooth process. We stayed in a 1bdrm villa. Fully equipped, nice clean room with a “island view” which was pretty much just the plants and trees behind one of their restaurants lol. Cleaning is optional... I don’t remember anyone ever cleaning my room. I think we got fresh towels one time only lol so that sucked. Not to many places to eat and bars close at 9 (boo!) one restaurant and bar closes at 11. I love that the beach is super close and sooo beautiful and clean. Swimming pools for everyone and nice and clean and basically anywhere u sit is a great view. We had a wonderful time on our trip.. but I gave it 3stars because nobody cleaned our room, don’t remember getting towels, everything closes super early and there is hardly any entertainment. It’s perfect for families getting away to relax.
Have been blessed to stay at WKOR many times over the years. As always, everyone and everything were top notch. We enjoyed all the restaurants in the complex and in Nanea. Great trip, great views and great facilities
The grounds are so beautiful, the beach was very nice and you can snorkle the reef right off the beach. The rooms were nice and the bed was comfortable. They have a great grilling area if you want to cook your own food and very good restaurants if you want to eat out. It's not too far from Front Street where there are many restaurants, art galleries and plenty of shopping. Our room had a microwave/convection oven, stove, dishwasher and full fridge. Great sunset view which sets directly behind Lanai
The Westin usually meets or exceeds our high expectations and this trip turned out no different than 8 previous states. Our week was perfect. Unfortunately it'll be the final stay for awhile since the ownership dues have gone from $800 to $2700 annually. We've been priced out of the market as I'm sure many others are finding out too. Sold the VO and will stay state-side for awhile.
Everyone knows resort spas can be pricey - but then you get what you pay for. In this case, Tory Brown at Spa Helani located in the Westin Kaanapali Resort Resort Villas is the therapist to ask for when booking. We met Tory by the pool where he offered a discount and a free "add-on" for booking with him then and there. Since I was planning a massage anyway, this was a welcome bonus. The massage and overall experience did not disappoint. Tory was thorough and addressed my areas of concern. He was very professional and courteous. Please ask for him when you setup your services!
