Lovely pools and snorkeling
Reviewed 6 hours ago

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. The snorkeling is great off of the beach and the pools are nice and the landscaping is very beautiful. My major complaint was check-in. It seemed a little disorganized. I booked this as a travel agent and logged that my husband and I were celebrating 20 years. There were no special amenities done for us. I inquired at the desk the next day and had to return again later that day in order to get the promo that I had signed up for when celebrating an anniversary. I kept getting different answers from different staff members, but eventually got it figured out on my own. The staff at the bar next to the pool were great and we enjoyed the happy hour there and watched the sunset bonfire lighting. Our room was ocean view with a nice view of the ocean and was clean. We liked having the washer and dryer in our room and kitchenette. The resort is convenient to Lahaina and restaurants and offers a free shuttle service. Overall, I would give this 4 stars based on the service that we received at check-in, but everything else was above that.

Kaanapali accomodations at it's best!

This is such a great property (KORV South), as are KORV North, Nanea and all the Westin properties in Maui. We always have a great time, are treated fantastic and left looking forward to returning! Everything is close, the shuttle runs regularly to all the nearby Westin properties and Lahaina so it's really a no-brainer . . .

Nice place

Had a premium 1 bedroom. This came in very handy for food and groceries because
eating in Maui can be expensive. The room was HUGE and obviously upgraded.
I have seen apartments smaller. The property is easy to navigate and the pool
were not crowded when we were there. Service from employees very friendly.

Have to give a special shout out to Amanda from Concierge. She was especially
helpful when booking and getting our bearings on how to get around.

Beach was just ok and not the soft sand..had lot of rocks. Walk a bit further for
better options.

The best vacation maybe ever...

We were looking forward to our visit to Maui for our 25 wedding anniversary. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a two bedroom family suite and it felt the perfect blend of home and luxury.

The rooms are very beautifully decorated with a clear connection to the Hawaiian culture. It´s very peaceful, a blended guest population of families and couples.

We loved the fully equipped villa - they come complete with high and appliances including in-room washer and dryer- giving a more relaxed feel during the stay.

I loved the soaking tub :-)

Not once did we hear disturbances from the garden or other rooms. Housekeeping was good. If searching for what would make it go from 98% perfect to a 100% I would focus on better poolside bar service compared to similar resorts and the price of cabanas is outrageous, resulting in them being empty for the whole of our 2-week stay.

Staff is lovely, valet and luggage service great. Great mix of services and the connection to the beach is perfect. I was awestruck first time snorkeling - tropical fish and turtles even right as soon as you tip your face in the water.

Would love to have the chance to stay there again!

Excellent shorkeling at the Westin's beach

We have visited this resort several times and requested a room w/ a good ocean view (knowing that they would most likely not give us ocean front) Our request was made 3 months prior to our visit. Well, we did get our building preference, however, we were facing another building! Not great.
No need to travel elsewhere, the snorkeling is excellent at this location. We traveled all over the island to a variety of locations to snorkel and could not find anything better than the snorkeling from the beach at the Westin. Over the past 10 years the amount amount of coral has grown considerably. There are a large variety of fishes and there are turtles, too.
We made good use of the shuttle bus into Lahaina. No need to drive and hunt for parking....the shuttle runs all day, until late at night on a consistent schedule. And it's free!
All of the staff, particularly cleaning and maintenance, were friendly, always speaking first to say "Aloha."
