How to Get There
We enjoyed the location and quietness of this condo. We rented directly through Outrigger, so our parking was cheaper than renting through a 3rd party. We paid $17.50/night, vs $20. Our condo was a 2BR/2BA upstairs unit. We never saw any roaches or spiders-alive or dead in the unit. We did have some TINY ants on the counters. I have never seen them that small. They never got on the food and we kept the counters and sink wiped up so no issues.
There are no restaurants on-site but many within walking distance. We used the pool every night and it was rarely crowded. The AC's in the LR and BRs kept the unit very cool and it was very hot outside.
The desk staff was friendly and accommodating. If we ran out of something in the condo-trash bags, soap, detergent, coffee, sugar, etc. we just stopped in and they gave us more. We did multiple loads of laundry with the convenient in-room washers/dryers and I appreciated not having to buy supplies.
We've stayed at Aina Nalu several times. We love the location just two blocks from Front Street in Lahaina. We'd often park our car and not move it for days at a time. The property does not have much to offer beyond a pool but Lahaina is one of our favorite places to window shop and dine. The condo was adequate for our needs but not large or fancy (we always get a one bedroom). We've never had an issue with the condo with the staff providing a table upon request (I don't like eating at the counter) and maintenance was not needed. The only issue is moving large suitcases to the second floor (ask for help at the front desk upon checkin and a grounds keeper will help you.) All in all, very good. However, prices have risen considerably in the past few years so our returning is questionable.
We have a timeshare in Kihei so we normally stay in that area, but a last minute wedding on Maui Drive us to book this resort. We had a two bedroom (unit G210) and we were very pleased with the layout and decor. The unit was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The pool areas had plenty of lounge chairs and cabana beds for escaping the hot June sun. Being so close to town was another advantage so we could walk to anything! You don’t have a view of the beach here but everything else is wonderful! We would definitely stay here again.
