Excellent staff

We have stayed at this location over 5 times, we are always ion the Island for the Swim across America charity Swim and for the Opera House Cup. WE have stayed at the Pricer hotels on the island but this has become our favorite it speaks to the solitude one seeks when going to this Island to escape the world. We travel every month for business and pleasure and we are always at a high end luxury resort like the Four Seasons, this is not the Four Season it is Family fun friendly safe atmosphere. We love that is this away from downtown it just adds to the secluded atmosphere of the island, Get bikes ride to Nobadeer and Sconset as well as other fine spots. We look forward to returning yearly as the staff treats you like family!!

First time in Nantucket

First off do not confuse this hotel with the Nantucket hotel and spa like we did when we booked. We were so disappointed when we drove up. It’s about a 10min drive from town so not really walkable. It’s across the street from the airport so it can be loud. The bed was just ok but the pillows were horrible foam pillows. For the price I would’ve expected down pillows. The rooms are old and we had to walk in the rain to get to our room. The breakfast was just ok. In the morning they have coffee set up in the lobby with store bought donuts so very cheaply done. Since it’s not the best location I’d think they would make up for that in amenities but they don’t. There is no restaurant or market on the premises only outside vending machines for soda or water. If we come back to Nantucket we will not be staying there again. And don’t use your fireplace unless you want the whole room to smell the whole time.

Totally Okay

We were at the Nantucket Inn during September. The hotel is located directly across the street from the airport. The staff was pleasant. The outside doors of the rooms do need to be pressure washed as mildew was abundant. The rooms are straightforward and the furnishings somewhat dated. The beds were comfortable. We had a rental car so getting around Nantucket was not a problem for us. They advertise tea and cookies in the afternoon in the lobby - we checked several times and that was not available - when we asked, a staff member left to go upstairs and returned with an opened package of store brand cookies - hmmm. There was coffee in the lobby but you do have to get from your room located in one of the outside buildings so if it is raining, be prepared! Mom's Breakfast was pretty good - a large selection of items. All in all, this is a pleasant hotel - just know upfront that it is pretty basic and not near to downtown or the beaches.

staff seemed to be annoyed by guests

Rooms are fine, but bed uncomfortable due to worn out mattress. The staff was not welcoming at all. Grounds are nice, breakfast buffet was good. Shuttle to and from town was helpful. Expensive, but Nantucket is an expensive place to visit. The Island is beautiful
