A great hotel in an excellent location
Reviewed 1 day ago

My husband and I stayed here for 3 night whilst he was running the Boston marathon. We loved everything about the hotel. Our room was perfectly sized and we loved the quirky interior design. The beds are really easy to operate and the bathroom was massive. It was clean and modern. I suppose the room was small but we didn't notice as everything was so cleverly designed that it didn't seem to matter.

The staff were always helpful and the roof top bar was brilliant. Prices of drinks were a little steep but it is a hotel bar and you get amazing views of the surrounding area.
It was a short walk in to the centre and the are around it had loads of great bars with excellent ale.

Transport to and from the airport was a doddle.

What's not to like?! Would definitely check out other hotels in this chain.

Small & Overpriced

if you're over 30 and expected a "Normal" hotel room, don't stay here. Difficult to figure out beds, lighting and showers. Rooms are tiny. Beds have to fold out and there is hardly in room left when they do. Lighting was purple at first. Difficult to figure out how to change. No desk to work on in the room. Rain shower was hard to figure out how to turn on. For $300/night I expected a LOT more.

Not bad.

The hotel is in a good location for exploring Boston and close to a transit station if you’re not keen on walking. The check in staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are small and don’t have much in the way of storage but if you’ve booked a room here then you’re probably aware of this. The soundproofing wasn’t great, we could hear next door talking on the phone and could hear people outside on the street. For a mid range hotel it a okay - it was clean and fairly comfortable.

Not my cup of tea

Know that the rooms are small.
I knew they were going to be smaller, but I didn't realize they were tiny.
My husband is an over-packer. This is not a hotel for him due to the lack of storage space. We were only there for 2 nights so we made it work, but anything longer would not have been OK.
I think this hotel is best for solo travelers who plan on spending minimal time in the room.
Everything was very clean and modern, which was appreciated, but didn't necessarily make up for the lack of space. Yes, this would be a luxurious cabin in an airplane, but i'm not in an airplane so my standards are not the same.
Live and learn!

Very Adequate

Booked this room to take my 13yr old to Boston for his birthday. I chose it because it was very unique and I got a fantastic price. The room is super tiny BUT there is a place for everything. There are lots of little details like towel warmers that make it fun. Room service was spotty we got completely missed one day. Everyone working here seemed super friendly. We were able to walk and uber everywhere. Seaport is a great area to stay in. Loads of great restaurants in walking distance. Visit Tatte Bakery for sure. My son LOVED this hotel.
