How to Get There
My professional association hosted an event with the W, and the experience made hosting a breeze. Ali, the sales manager always responded quickly to our questions as we decided the major details (we'll try to have less next time we're in The Gallery!) Brianne, our event manager had great attention to detail and was flexible as we figured out the menu and bar set up, and the AV manager offered to stay late to make sure we were set up. We worked with Tova when we were touring the space options, and the day of. The day we met Tova was a busy night at the hotel, but you would have never know how much she was balancing - she made great suggestions to us, and even took us to the lobby to demonstrate (mock)tails and how we could put our logo on them. On the day of the event, everything went smoothly, and all of our guests had a wonderful time. Food was spaced out perfectly so it never ran out or got cold, Randy and Kristen kept everyone's glasses full, and empty plates and glasses never piled up (possibly just a pet peeve of mine). It is such a relief to show up after work just before the event is starting to have everything coming together as envisioned with no curve balls. Both our Board members and Event Planners were impressed and can't wait to be back!
Brief 2 night stay but new refurb rooms are lovely! Good lighting, lots of plugs and sockets.
I always review the gym so here goes:
- clean bright well lit, 4th floor
- great cardio space
- couple of bikes including a peleton
- good weights space
- towels, water fountain and headphones
Traveled here on business for one-night in February 2019. I received an email from Concierge Leyani a day prior to arrival asking about my trip. I replied with a room request. I also used the app to request mobile checkin. I was happy to arrive and looked forward to the visit. After a quick check-in, I found a beautiful large room (1102). My only disappointment was that the mobile key access worked inconsistently and that I did not realize the room had two thermostats. I turned only one down at night so I did not understand why the room was so warm.
Came to Boston to celebrate my birthday as well as my sister in law. My husband and I stayed at the 14th floor (one king bed) and my siter in law and her husband stayed in the 15th floor (2 queen beds). I love staying at the W (not just Boston) but the W is one of my favorite hotels. They have a friendly staff and the hotel lobby/bar transforms into a lounge at night. They had a DJ Friday and Saturday night and we were so pleased with out stay. Beds are comfy, rooms are clean and they have room service for late night eats unitl 2 pm. Great location to walk to train stations and other cool bars.
Every time I come to the city I stay at “The W”. My fiancé and I came out for the Celtics game celebrating our new addition (bun in the oven) to our family. We spoke with Julian at the front desk and he to is expecting a little one. When we came back from the game there was a box of chocolates and a card congratulating us. These small but beautiful gestures are the reason that we will forever revisit this hotel. Thank you Julian, and best of luck!
