Many hotel options here. Some small things that 4 and 5 stars get right they failed
Reviewed 3 days ago

1–At the check in there was no line so people were just in a general middle area. There were three people checking people in and 2 of us waiting — no acknowledgment that we were there. When a clerk became available I walked up to them being closer and the clerk told me I had to wait and brought the other party to the desk before me. It was a little embarrassing but ok. During this time another person came into the middle area and when the next clerk was free, the clerk took the person who came after me and didn’t follow the same routine making him wait while taking me next. This seems minor but is very irritating.
2–the gift shop closes for 20+ minutes each night around 7pm (the exact time I went there each night). To make matters worse the small cafe selling sandwiches etc closed at the same time. So when I wanted to buy a bottle of water, I had no opportunity to buy one unless I sat and waited.
3–room service is 24 hours. This could be a good thing unless the room next door orders room service at 130 am and doesn’t open the door until the person knocks loudly and announces room service. This of course woke all of us since the walls are thin and it sounded like they were knocking on our door.
4–the bathroom door is a slider with no lock. It didn’t slide easily and was a constant problem for my wife and child who both got ‘stuck’ because the door was so difficult to open.
The fitness center is nice and the room was comfortable.

Above and beyond.

Traveling with my wife and infant daughter. Had to stay an extra night last minute because wife got sick. Jones at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate us. Kudos to him, I hope management reads this.

Amazing Hotel In Boston
Reviewed 6 days ago

My boyfriend and I spent one night here returning from New York before going back to Connecticut, the hotel is located a short walk from Hynes Convention Center MBTA Station and it is steps from the Boston Public Library, restaurants and nightlife options. Also the hotel's longe is conveniently connected with the adjacent shopping mall which is nice. We were assigned a large room on a very high floor with an amazing view ot the town, the bed was literally giant and super comfy and also the shower was huge and extremely comfortable. The room was equipped with everything you may need and it was very silent during the night also. In the morning we had breakfast in the lounge (where you can find a couple of easy coffee shops). The staff was very kind and willing to provide good reccomendation also for dinner. Excellent parking service available. Definitely a great choice when you are in Boston.

Great location and property

Stayed here for 4 nights because of work. This is the only property that has actually managed to look at my requests (high-floor, foam pillows). I have stayed over 50 nights in various properties last year and none of them had ever checked this. So huge props to this property.

Location is great, tons of access to malls, restaurants, and offices. It's your typical property within the downtown location. Rooms were clean and well maintained, gym was very spacious compared to a lot of other properties, and the Westin Club was a plus.

My two complaints were the valet parking, which is a staggering $65 USD a day. Off-site parking is available...but it's off-site.

The other was the selection at Westin Club, I think they should be rotating their food options more often instead of serving the same selection for 4 days straight.
