How to Get There
I came back from a run and Norman was quick to ask if I would like a bottle of cold water or needed a towel. Deneke was very gracious and friendly when I needed to check my bags and provided great directions upon my departure. I've never seen staff that are so thoughtful and outgoing. Fantastic experience and stay at the Colonnade!
My room was excellent. It was clean, spacious, and equipped with every amenity to make one feel right at home. The concierge, Deneke, was very helpful and and nice in assisting me with restaurant choices and transportation. He was sincerely interested in whether my stay at The Colonnade was enjoyable (it certainly was) and was happy to hear that. I would definitely stay here again. Compared to the prices at comparable hotels in the same area, this one is a bargain!
We stayed with an exclusive group at the Colonnade. Management did not tell us prior to arrival that the only restaurant on property had already been closed for some time. No other food option available except limited room service which was exactly not available when our group arrived. (No room service between 2pm-4pm.) While it is nice to see that upgrades on hardware are taking place, noisy refurbishment works had not been communicated to us although we clearly asked to do so during our group preparation. The lobby area itself seems quite dead and outdated. Great location of the hotel but service and communication need improvement. We will not book the Colonnade again.
Excellent location walking distance to Copley Place, the Art Museum, Newberry Street, Boston Common, etc. Great restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and quiet, the staff super friendly and helpful, specially Deneke who always made us feel at home.
Had the best trip in Boston thanks to the Colonnade! The hotel is great. Unbelievable service (Thomas at the front desk is so nice, helpful.. and funny!). Can’t beat the location. Don’t stay anywhere else!
