How to Get There
When you think of a giant city center hotel, you wouldn't think of tiny rooms, but there are here at the Marriott Copley. That is all I will say bad about it as its a fine hotel. The elevators may be the best In all my travels. An excellent gym and pool are at hand and housekeeping does an excellent job.
Location is unbeatable. It is conveniently connected to the upscale Copley Place mall and Prudential Center with a myriad of shops and restos. Champions and Starbucks can be found on the 2nd level. The subway is within easy reach, and if you plan to join hop-on hop-off tours like Old Town Trolley, it stops right in front of the hotel. The Newbury shopping street is about 8-10mins away by foot.
The room is small but well-appointed. There appears to be no dedicated line for housekeeping so you need to press a number to channel all your requests. One of the family members forgot to pack slippers and when she asked for one, she was told that the hotel "ran out of slippers." Another disappointment occurred when the water closet was clogged on the 3rd night of our stay and a personnel had to be sent up to our room to fix the problem. Moreso, housekeeping failed to clean/sanitize the bathroom properly as when I put down the cover, I was grossed out to see poop stains.
On another occasion, I found the concierge on duty quite rude. I approached him one afternoon to ask for directions. As it was drizzling outside, I clarified if I can simply use the connecting skybridge without getting out of the hotel. He then answered something like "unless you thought of jumping out of the window...you won't get wet." He didn't stop there and repeated himself. I'm not sure if he meant it to be a joke, but I thought it wasn't funny.

Okay, but would not stay there again. The rooms have doors that do not shield the sound and was disturbed for the 4 days we were there with people talking and doors closing. We were on the 15th floor. Great location though. Very expensive. Beds very soft.
This is our first time in Boston and this hotel was the perfect location. It is centrally located and the catwalk to the Prudential building (has shops and restaurants) is perfect to avoid those April showers.
Their lobby smells wonderful like a spa! Rooms are clean and check-in is a breeze. Will definitely stay here again?
This hotel location is brilliant right in Copley square attached to the mall. The rooms are of a good size and very comfortable. Bathrooms are good but a little dated and clean. There is a large cinema like lcd tv in the room which has Netflix loaded on to it, there are also decent cable channels but the reception for these channels are bad and it keeps freezing, very irritating and not what you would expect from a Marriott hotel. The hotel does have WiFi with a good speed for a daily charge.
