How to Get There
What a great place. Beautiful historic home surrounded by trees and greenery and a small pond. We stayed on the third floor and our room had a little sitting room off the bedroom, so roomy and decorated in a lovely blue and white patterned wallpaper. The breakfast was delicious and our host, Joe was great. Highly recommend!
We were between two high school graduations in two states and needed a respite. The Wayside Inn provided the perfect 3 day stopover. Joe is an outstanding host and breakfast chef. The food was beautifully prepared and presented, not to mention delicious! We stayed in the lovely Pierpoint Suite with its fabulous shower. That was an extra treat. We had a delightful 3 days and highly recommend The Wayside Inn.
The wayside inn is absolutely lovely! The owner is very polite and an excellent cook! Breakfast was amazing! The house is wonderful and very cozy! My room was very spacious and clean! I do strongly recommend!
the location is close enough to all the sights in Ellicott City but also far enough that you feel like you are away from it all. The breakfast was a true gourmet meal, service was amazing, the rooms were beautiful and extremely clean
My out of town party was treated terribly. The male owner of this establishment was so rude, verbally accosting us for a minor misunderstanding on our part. Word of advice, take your business elsewhere. Such a shame, as the grounds were pretty.
