How to Get There
When we arrived, we felt very misled. There were kids running around everywhere, the food was mediocre at best, and the staff was rude. Save your money and stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Easton - you'll have a better experience.
We are lucky enough to visit this hotel at least once a year - it is the perfect place to unwind and get away from it all. The setting is spectacular, the sunsets amazing! There is something for everyone - lounging by the pool or lots of activities to keep you busy. The rooms are spacious and there are many options for dining. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Can't wait to come back next year!
Although we enjoyed our stay, the golf, the pool and the staff, the food was very inconsistent and a number of the staff were poorly trained and equipped to understand simple drink and dinner orders. We ate at Blue Point twice for dinner and ended up leaving the other restaurant after our server failed to get an order correct three times.
My daughter, granddaughter and myself had a girls get away weekend. We had a wonderful time. On the expensive side but we were making memories so it's okay this one time. I was a bit disappointed in the condition of the grounds around the pool areas. They should be swept regularly to rid the area of food spills and dead bugs.
It's the kind of hotel where even the housekeeping staff in the hallways say hello to you & make you feel like a guest in their home. Terrific views of the bay (with lawn or pool options). Special kudos to front desk staff Rachel & Maggie for making it perfect.
