A luxury boutique hotel in a historic waterfront building, with personalized butler service, breakfast, wine, nightly chocolate receptions and more

The Lowdown

Boasting one of the top spots on TripAdvisor’s list of Baltimore hotels – and a Certificate of Excellence from the site – The Inn at Henderson’s Wharf is a peaceful luxury boutique hotel, on the city’s scenic waterfront. Once a bustling tobacco factory, this historic building is now home to quieter accommodations, offered alongside exceptional guest services; you’ll even enjoy personalized butler service to cater to your every need (or want). Old-fashioned hospitality abounds, from the pre-dinner wine reception to the nightly Grand Marnier and Chocolate event.
Beyond the hotel’s charming, exposed-brick walls is Fell’s Point Historic District, a popular draw in Baltimore known for its restaurants, shops and historic walking tours. One quick stroll down the cobblestone street, and you’ll be within a stone’s throw of some of the city’s biggest attractions. Or, you can simply head out for a leisurely walk along the waterfront and breathe in that fresh Chesapeake Bay air.
Good to know
Our advertised lowest rate is available December through February, but every bookable date is still the lowest price for that room, on that night, that you’ll find anywhere online.

Plantation shutters and Hemingway-style furniture fit seamlessly alongside traces of the guest rooms’ industrial past, like exposed brick walls. Elegant touches, like fresh flowers, plush bedding and fine linens, give the upscale rooms a peaceful vibe. If you pick the Queen Bed room, rather than the Two Queen Beds Harbor View room, you’ll enjoy views of the garden, marina or harbor.

Facing the waterfront, The Inn at Henderson’s Wharf sits near Fell’s Point, which boasts restaurants, shops and people-watching aplenty. There’s a water taxi nearby, offering access to the National Aquarium at Baltimore and other popular attractions.

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed the inn’s old charm and close proximity to the water and all things Fells Point has to offer. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The wine & cheese hour was a fun bonus! We will be back.

The perfect place!

A family group of about 20 stayed at the Inn during my daughter's wedding weekend activities. The location was beautiful - on the water in lovely Fells point and close to all of the restaurants and activities at the Inner Harbor. The rooms were absolutely perfect, in size, style, cleanliness, and ambiance - you felt as if you'd stepped into an earlier time! And the staff was amazingly helpful and pleasant.
I cannot wait to go back!

Beautiful boutique hotel with friendly staff

Great location in the middle of Historic waterfront Baltimore. Walk to restaurants, shopping and waterfront. Close to Aquarium. Beautiful rooms, with antique furniture. Amazing art collection! Breakfast buffet with fresh berries, Starbucks coffee, pastries from the bakery two doors down. Wine down at 6pm and dessert liquors at 9pm. The staff was like coming home. Would highly recommend and love to stay here again!
