How to Get There
A quick get away for wife and I. Hotel staff very friendly and professional. Room very comfortable. Close to everything we wanted to do in Baltimore. We'll definitely be back. One caveat ... would challenge their definition of Harbor View.
Apparently, this hotel thinks it is more important to "save the planet" than to keep their guests comfortable. The a/c in my room was horrible (by design). No matter the temperature I set on the thermostat, the room would never get warmer than 69 degrees. The thermostat kept telling me to "Go Green". I didn't want to go green, I wanted my damn a/c to work. The furniture in the rooms is incredibly uncomfortable. The only chair in the room was so uncomfortable I could not sit in it for more than 20 minutes at a time. The only reason this property gets a Poor rating instead of a Terrible rating is because of the staff. They were friendly, and usually competent. If you are looking for a place to stay in downtown Baltimore near the Inner Harbor, look someplace else. This Hyatt is awful.
I just came back from a biz conference at this hotel.
Room was ok, staff was friendly, but water is complementary only if you are an Elite member.
Are the $3,50 not worth to make a regular client feel appreciated?
This hotel looks right over the Inner Harbor, with easy walking distance to restaurants and to the attractions. I was there for a large business meeting, but the staff were amazingly attentive and great. Gym is well equipped. Plenty of lovely spaces to meet, hang out, etc.
I recently stayed here for a work conference and was blown away by the professionalism of all members of the staff. Each person I met greeted me with a smile. They were helpful and very quick to offer service. The hotel itself is elegant, very clean, bright and comfortable. My room was perfect and restful. I highly recommend this hotel.
