How to Get There
Nov. 11,2018 We all, 35+ of us descended on Hotel Indigo! The staff knew our names and was consistently cheerful, efficient and helpful. They recommended the wonderful Apollo Sedan driving service who picked up my disabled sister flying in from Calif, the door lady knew her name before she arrived and got her safely to the ramp entrance and into her room. The Indigo arranged all our rooms on one floor so we could easily find each other.Breakfast in the Hotel restaurant was lovely they just kept adding chairs as family members came down to eat from the buffet or off the menu. Everyone was so accommodating I felt like I was in my own kitchen welcoming family to sit and eat. I quietly gave my credit card to the waiter and she instantly knew what to do. The front desk staff communicated well with who left what where and who was looking for who and always cheerfully and with a real desire to be of service. I don't know where they found so many genuinely helpful people who were kind and considerate any hour of the day or night ! They were also knowledgeable about the rest of Mount Vernon where young adults could go to all hours and where was the best Italian food after midnight! I can't say enough good things about Hotel Indigo super clean, lovely rooms with great views of the area's fall foliage. The wedding was a fantastic large family memory and in no small measure thanks to the treasure that the people of Hotel Indigo made it. If you have a wedding in Baltimore don't go anywhere else! Lynn
Nice hotel with friendly staff. Parking is across the street in a secure garage, and you have to get the doorman to open it for you at night. Food in the hotel is great and worth the expensive price in my opinion. Great drinks and to-go food options.
What a gem! I spent a quiet and comfortable four nights this past weekend at the Hotel Indigo on a business trip. My room on the 8th floor was clean and the bed was heavenly to sleep in. Such a nice place to return to every night! You would have never known that the hotel was at or near full capacity. WiFi worked perfectly, the local snacks and ice cream treats for sale in the lobby were a fun splurge, and all of the staff were helpful and kind. Anthony at Poets deserves a special shout out for the excellent dinner service! Parking across the street in the Franklin St Garage was very convenient (make sure to have the front desk staff validate your parking token each time you get one), and the hotel was near many great restaurants within walking distance. If I ever have reason to return to Baltimore in the future, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else!
It was a good place to stay, the food at the restaurant was over priced and unseasoned. The rooms were clean, and the bed was comfy. Their diy laundry services are pretty crappy. The bar was also over priced.
Our 2 day getaway included a sleepover at the Hotel Indigo in the very quaint Mt Vernon section of downtown Baltimore, away from the tourist scene of the Inner Harbor. We parked across the street in a garage that included a plug-in for our hybrid, and enjoyed the Walters Art Museum, the oldest Basilica in the US, dinner at Sotto Sopra and breakfast at Jack & Zach Food — all within three blocks of the Hotel Indigo. The room was quiet, the bed was very comfortable and the Jazz trio playing in the lobby was a nice touch in the evening. We will be back.....
