A charming Marrakech riad in the heart of the medina, with breakfast, welcome treats and an airport transfer
If you want to be right in the thick of Marrakech's kaleidoscopic action, there's no better place to be than its buzzing beating heart, the medina. That's where you'll find Riad Assaada, which boasts many
of the city’s main attractions right on its doorstep. The medina itself
is a densely packed, Berber-built medieval city, with maze-like alleys,
where bustling souks sell traditional textiles, pottery and jewellery.
Street-food stalls and performers jostle for position in Jemaa el-Fnaa,
the city’s UNESCO World Heritage central square.
A genuinely warm
welcome awaits as you step through this TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence-winning riad’s door and leave the city's
hubbub behind. Embracing typical Moroccan architecture with pride, this
riad is all about whitewashed walls, tadelakt plaster work, wooden
shutters and intricate wrought ironwork. Your friendly French host Marie
immediately makes you feel like one of the family, offering welcome tea
and pastries. At the riad’s heart is a peaceful patio with a sunken
plunge pool, offering much-needed respite after a busy day haggling in
