How to Get There
I travelled to Marrakech with my mum for her 70th birthday and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The Riad gave us a very warm welcome with some fresh tea and coffee when we arrived. They also provided us with a map and a mobile phone, which we could use during our stay to make local calls and which had a great little app with restaurant reviews, tourist attractions and shopping suggestions. The dinner in the evening was lovely and they had musicians in the courtyard playing which was lovely.
If you want to stay in a traditional Riad and have the full Marrakech experience, i would highly recommend a stay
Having read previous glowing reviews, we booked the Riad Kniza wanting a touch of luxury during our stay. We were not disappointed as this is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Immaculately clean with a lovely comfortable room, the Riad is a peaceful haven away from the mad busy streets and souks of Marrakesh. The staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing was any trouble. The breakfasts were top class and had more than enough food to start your day. This really is a charming place to stay and I cannot recommend the Riad Kniza enough. You will love it!
We didn't stay here, but our Tour Rep suggested Riad Kniza for an intimate, romantic meal away from the hustle and bustle of the Souks and main square and we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we stepped into the beautiful oasis. We had a short tour of the Riad before being taken to the beautiful restaurant and seated at our table. The waiter was very attentive and provided excellent service. We had a traditional set menu which worked out at about £50 per person for a delicious 5 course meal. Every element was outstanding and it was a fantastic dining experience which I would highly recommend.
Our room was lovely, the staff was friendly and very helpful! The breakfast that was included was a great way to start our day. They even figured out how we could have alcohol in our room! Because everything is a hard surface, noise does travel a little.
Nearly all reviews of this Riad are excellent and we can only agree. A beautiful, historic building, very well equipped and with delightful staff. Marrakech is a fascinating, bustling, exciting place and the Riad Kniza provides a peaceful haven behind a heavy door. Our room was lovely, all windows overlooking the central courtyard. The food was good, charmingly served in little salons dotted around or, if warm enough, on the roof terrace. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.
