How to Get There
The perfect place to stay in Marrakech. With the hustle and bustle of Marrakech right outside the hotel door nothing is more than a few minutes walk away. Once inside, you are in a beautifully restored Riad with endless charm. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
I will definitely be going back.
Throughout our week at Riad Kniza including New Years Eve we were very well looked after with warmth and gracious service at all times. The staff we interfaced with spoke at least three languages, Moroccan, French and English and could not have been more helpful - thank you. The location inside the Medina along with an initial guided tour made it easy to then find our way round, and get to where we wanted to be on our own, knowing what to do and not do from advice by the guide. The day trips to The Atlas Mountains and a Berber village, and then Essaouira were arranged by the hotel with the same guide on both days and were excellent. Visiting the Yves Saint Laurent museum and gardens are a must, they are superb and worth a whole day of time. Our bedroom (No 1) was a large suite that lacked for nothing in amenities, and was regularly serviced and kept immaculately clean by the staff. This was on the ground floor so easy for access, but was on occasion a little noisy when serenaded by the musicians playing in the courtyard outside the room - but not something to complain about. Breakfast is included and is a feast of delights including a eggs, cereals, home made yoghurt, fruit, and tasty Moroccan breads with tea and coffee - truly great start to every day. We had an evening meal twice in the Riad from their standard menu which offers delightful choices of starters and main courses. A highlight was the New Years Eve dinner and celebrations which was a 5 to 6 course feast with pre dinner cocktails and drinks included, plus live music and a "Belly Dancer" to conclude the evenings entertainment - about 50 guests and visitors had a memorable evening. The roof terrace is where you can get quiet time and watch a beautiful sunset overlooking the Atlas Mountains, sit reading a book or just soak in the atmosphere. We met the owner who has clearly trained the staff very well and runs an excellent small hotel
Riad knizzzza from where I should start?
I am in love with everything at this real riad.. absolutely everything.
In short, if its in your budget, then don’t waste your time by searching for a riad. This is the one and the only one.
This riad was my paradise in Marrakech madina and did not disappoint at any way.
Its 20 minuets walk to the djame el fnna and in the middle between the madina, majorelle garden and guilez.
Our junior suite in the first floor was amazing and cozy with a beautiful view to the pool.
Upon our arrival, they provide an attai with biscuits then they took us to the suite which was decorated in a beautiful way with rose everywhere.
We spent 3 nights in our suite, I always spent at least 10 minutes just looking at the moroccan dome above the bed and the beautiful chandelier.
I really didn’t want to leave this riad.
Frist, its worth to say, I went to most of Europe, bali and dubai before and stayed in 5 and 7 stars hotels and this riad beats them all in everything.
They gave us an upgrade which makes our stay more special.
Their breakfast is huge and having it in the rooftop is a must.
The staff was very professional and extremely friendly. attended to any and all of our needs. Special thanks to Salma.
The owner Mohammed was very kind by offering to us to go over his museum which will be open soon. He was always checking all over the riad with smile.
coming to the best part which is an arabic life music everyday from 7:30 - 10:30. Salah -if I am not mistaken in his name- “the singer” with his colleague made our night. He always selecting the top arabic songs of 70’s.
