How to Get There
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Riad Kaiss! The Riad is extremely well located and beautifully decorated. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the food was excellent. They were also very helpful in providing a local taxi and recommending and booking restaurants for us. We especially loved the local caramel shampoo in the bathroom and our experience in the traditional hammam bath. We can’t wait to come and stay again!
My daughter and I stayed here for two nights. You are met at the Airport in a luxury car & driven to the nearest taxi point To the Riad. You are met here with a cart & escorted to the Riad. Here they welcomed us with tea and pastries. A calm oasis with running water and trees/ flowers etc all around. It’s a lovely Riad set 4 / 5 minutes walk from the Souks and equidistant to the taxi point. This is most helpful and definitely a good location if you want to me amongst the “real Marrakech”!
We booked the Suite with private terrace - obvs at extra cost but it was fabulous HIGHLY recommend this room. So nice having your own sun beds and a big day bed too! We had lunch and breakfast on our own terrace. But there are lots of places to eat in and around the Riad. Our room was on different levels that added to its mystique! Great towels too!
Their roof top is lovely - very pretty with flowers and plants abound.
Trees adorn the inner area and attract the birds with the morning and afternoon chorus. Soooo relaxing.
Mona and Laila were terrific - organising trips et all. This Riad has their own links to private transfer (shared with Riad Dar Anika- highly recommend this one too!) who can drop you to restaurants etc and they include airport transfers as part of the room cost.
We booked a private day trip with this company to the Atlas Mountains. We had Hakim for the day -such a lovely driver/guide. Super friendly and spoke perfect English.
(This was an amazing day out -9.30-5.30pm we saw all sorts along the way. Here in the mountains we met our Berber guide Hassan - super friendly too- we Went hiking and donkey riding up and down steep mountains/ saw the waterfall / had Tea and biscuits then lunch, just the two of us with our driver, at the Berber guides house - cooked by his wife. Literally in the middle of nowhere- it was amazing! Then camel ride on way home)
All the staff at our Riad were friendly and helpful. Even when we moved to our next Riad they were still of great help. Much more so than those at Riad 72!
We had a wonderful dinner at Riad Dar Anika - their sister hotel - 5 minutes away.
Drinks on the roof top bar were lovely - especially if you catch sunset- makes for some lovely photos.
There’s the call to prayer every now and again which is enchanting and loved hearing it, it’s all part of Moroccan life.
There was a little noise from next door building 10-3pm but ur out must of the time so not a problem.
We seemed to not be in the Riad for too long as there’s so much to see and do everywhere! The Souks are amazing- haggle hard!!
Cleanliness wise this was the perfect place to be - spotlessly clean and very well maintained everywhere too. Unlike a few we visited later in our stay- avoid Malika!!
In summary - you won’t find a nicer Riad, staff are lovely, food and decor on point. Fab little roof top terrace. Book this one! You won’t regret it!!
