Kech Boutique Hotel & Spa offers a luxurious base in the heart of Marrakech, inviting the most discerning of travelers to enjoy this vibrant capital in style. Inside, the décor is fresh and contemporary while showcasing unmistakable Moroccan flavor. Stylish bedrooms surround the sun-drenched terrace, where shaded sun loungers and a large pool create the perfect desert oasis.
The hotel’s services will keep you comfortable, too. Enjoy light bites and refreshing cocktails at the poolside bar, choose from an international menu of exquisite dishes at the restaurant, and order a nightcap at the bar before turning in for the evening. Of course there’s more to life than food and drink, so make sure to save some time for a trip (or two or three) to the luxe spa. Book yourself a pampering massage or beauty treatment, or simply let your stress melt away in the steam room.
Suitably refreshed, it’s time to explore the city’s sights – wow your senses at Jemaa El Fna Square, admire the incredible architecture of the regal palaces, and pick up a bargain in the souks. You can also venture outside the city, with trips to the nearby Atlas Mountains or a bit of off-roading on the dunes – if you can tear yourself away from your luxe retreat, that is.

How to Get There
The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are bright and clean. My room had sliding doors with the pool and pool chairs right outside ready for use. The meals are buffet which are very good and the spa message is well worth the money. There is also a room service menu which served cheeseburgers! Hard to find here. I also found the hotel staff to be pleasant and helpful. Highly Recommend..........
Nice and clean hotel with big rooms but the spa is a big rip off. Rude and very dishonest spa manager who overcharged. We agreed and paid for a 60 mins massage and only got 30 mins of service... very disappointing! Take a stop watch with you if you want to use spa facilities!!!
If your looking for a clean hotel with good food and polite, attentive staff look no further than the Kech. Breakfast is great with loads of choice. Its location couldn't be better, its on the outskirts of the main town so no noisy traffic! The pool although cold is spotlessly clean, is cleaned daily and has the sun from around 10am
If your going to play some golf as I did, then its not far from the golf clubs which are all in great condition.
I Stayed three nights in January 2019 while on a business trip in Marrakesh. I’ll start with the positives: Hotel is in a good location and breakfast is tasty and plentiful. Unfortunately the hotel had a really odd vibe , visually tired with worn carpets in corridors and guest actively smoking the lobby areas . Heating wasn’t great, so frankly the rooms were freezing cold which made our stay very uncomfortable. Lastly hotel staff entered our room twice on the evening without announcing themselves . Which just made the hotel feel unsafe . All round not a great impression and I wouldn’t return .
Where do I begin…AMAZING AND LUSH!!!! I’ve never written a review before, but I felt the need to write one on the experience I had at this hotel. Firstly, if it wasn’t for this hotel my best friend’s birthday experience in Morocco would have been ruined! After an awfully deceitful hotel in the Souk we frantically called Kech Boutique & Spa to see if they had a room available to check into straight away - bearing in mind it was 1 am but the amazing receptionist Soufiane told us it was fine, they had one suite left and to come straight away. As we arrived late, we were given a complimentary additional hour’s checkout (1 PM). We had the benefit of staying in two rooms - the suite and a triple room and I can honestly say the difference between the two is just the lounge area. In the suite, you have two rooms one with the bed, wardrobe, television, small sofa, bathroom, and balcony - the other with a lovely L-shaped sofa, television, and toilet.
The hotel was a breath of fresh air! From the exterior, I knew I arrived at a luxurious hotel and the vintage car parked outside added great character – also a good background for pictures. The decor was lovely and what you see in the pictures is exactly what you get, no deceit! The concierge carried our luggage into the room, the staff were very friendly and accommodating especially Younes and Sofiane, always willing to tend to our needs and when we returned from nights out, they were genuinely intrigued to know how our night went and if we enjoyed ourselves. No language barriers with the main staff, housekeeping mostly only spoke the native language though. The complimentary “handy” phone is a great feature to the hotel rooms since the rates set by our mobile providers were ridiculous, and we genuinely felt safer going out knowing if we needed to call anyone or find directions, we could use the phone free of charge. The breakfast was amazing!! (Currently reminiscing about the fruit salad!) A great selection to choose from as well as the staff assisting you and topping up your glass when needed. Great balcony area located on the first floor for pictures!
Oh, and the spa!!!! AMAZING and reasonably priced! Side note: When they say full body, they mean full body breasts included! The shopping centre “Carrefour” was a 10-minute walk away which was reasonable for the little bits and bobs but would suggest the Menara Mall as there’s more choice (10-minute drive). The location of the hotel was ideal and in a 10-15-minute drive from all the restaurants and attractions - however the taxi’s…HAGGLE, HAGGLE, HAGGLE!! It was only until the third day when we met a lovely man who told us we were being completely ripped off and taxi’s 10-15 minutes away should only be costing a maximum of 50 Dirham, not 150!!!!!!! After finding out this intel we told the drivers our price before the journeys and they often agreed - if they said no we walked away but they shortly changed their minds - this also applies to the taxis booked by the hotel, although they order their taxis from the English equivalent of “Addison Lee” but it should still not be any more than 50-60 Dirham. Would suggest visiting “So lounge” excellent DJ caters for everyone and the entire strip is incredible including live music, casino, and shisha bars.
To conclude, the only con I can honestly give is…the pool was cold, but I assume during the hotter seasons the sun naturally heats the pool. Other than that, everything about the hotel was lush, we all enjoyed ourselves and if we were to return to Morocco, Kech Boutique and Spa would be our first choice! Sadly, the only pictures I have are from once we started using the room – hence the mild mess - I just wished I took more decent pictures instead of videos to post on here to support this review! Oh, and Soufiane the receptionist, what a handsome and charming guy! Honestly a lovely soul and always welcoming with a big beautiful smile.
