How to Get There
I've travelled the world but never before to Marrakesh so I was a little apprehensive especially as to where to stay.
The Hotel & Ryad Art Place was absolutely fantastic.....and for me to say that, it had to be special.
Firstly, it's location is spectacular, right on the Main Square in The Medina and wow, what a location that is.....look it up.
Secondly, there was the Hotel Manager....OMG, there was absolutely nothing he was not prepared to do....with directions everywhere to dinning suggestions and he would even book excursions if you asked.....the guy was simply terrific.
Then the staff....a really friendly bunch indeed, always smiling and engaging with you which really makes your stay enjoyable.
We ate in the restaurant one night, which was very enjoyable but, as its quite a small hotel, there were not many people so it lacked a little atmosphere. The food was better than OK.
I'm not going to tell you there is a rooftop pool area nor many delightfully quiet places within it's walls, nor the beautifully decorated bedrooms with the suspended curtains around the bed or all the lovely art work all around the place......you will discover them for yourself if you stay there.
In my book this place is a 5* number, it's small, it's personal, it's friendly and we loved it....we will definitely be going back again.....bet on it.
I can not recommend this Hotel enough . Hidden in the main square in Marrakech, it’s beautiful with an intimate feel with excellent facilities & you really want for nothing . The Hotel is spotlessly clean & the staff go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible and nothing is too much trouble for them. The interior is beautifully done to give you an authentic Moroccan feel, the food is delicious and well presented and whatever your needs, the staff will do their best to cater to them. The dining room has a great view of the main square & there is a calm & relaxing roof terrace with a pool where you can sunbathe or just sit in the lounge area again overlooking the hustle & bustle of the square . Thank you to this charming hotel and most of all to the wonderful staff for making my stay in Marrakech so magical .
A girlie holiday. A very authentic Moroccan Ryad hotel. We cannot praise this hotel highly enough for location, cleanliness, staff couldn't do enough for us, food. Would highly recommend. Perfectly located for local souks and sightseeing. Would definitely return
I think the title says it all, we stayed for a few days, its bang in the centre and if you are lucky get a table overlooking. Breakfast was a good spread. The staff were all very friendly helping out. The room we booked had two showers and very nicely decorated along with a sweet box hamper.
One drawback, we stayed on the 1st floor and we struggled with WiFI connection , that would be the only improvement i would suggest them to do.
We stayed here for a week and it was great. Its such a beautiful hotel with a great view of the main square. The staff are so lovely, welcoming and helpful throughout our whole stay. The cleanliness of the hotel was great and the food was also very good. It also has a great rooftop pool. We are definitely planning to go back!
