How to Get There
Growing up in San Mateo County my family would always trek over the GG Bridge to Marin County. Just love Tiburon! It's like the Cape Cod of the West Coast! The Lodge at Tiburon was so quaint & charming. I'll definetly be coming back!
Great place to get away from the busy life. Great for walking day or night. I like that the hotel is not too large and that the staff is good at accommodating any needs. It is a comfortable hotel, good food. Great proximity to San Francisco, Angel Island, Fort Baker, etc.
Our stay was a gift from our children for our 80th birthday. We enjoyed our stay. Room was comfortable and very nicely decorated. Service was exceptional and room was very clean with all amenities we needed.
The location is great and for the most part the property is good but I have 2 complaints. Called to check on availability and rates. Called back 2 hours later and availability was the same but the rate was $100 higher. Bad taste in my mouth. Will avoid staying next here next time just because of that. My other complaint is the 1st room was very moldy/musty. Got a new room, still had hint of the same but much better so took it. Shouldn't need to deal with that for the price we paid. But still had a good trip and didn't have a ton of other options to stay in that area.
A town of little shops and good restaurants, one can reach Tiburon by bike, nice ride over the bridge and take the ferry back or simply ferry back and forth. We used Uber to and from the airport $70 one way.The lodge was perfect in every way with the exception of a soiled carpet and chair.Having stayed in the city twice before, we enjoyed the quiet and friendliness of the lodge. Iwould definitely stay here again!
