From the moment we arrived to the Acqua Hotel it was amazing! Will greeted us with a glass of wine after a long day of travelling and cookies for my husband. Will was very friendly and knowledge about the area.
Our junior suite was perfect! The bed was amazingly comfortable and felt like we were sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom was blissful, with the huge soaking tub and the separate shower. Also the bath salts were a perfect touch for a nice hot bath after a long day.
The view from the hotel room was so peaceful looking out onto the water and enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony. The hotel was in close proximity to the 101 and easily accessible to all the sights we were planning on seeing.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing, from the fresh fruit, fresh prepared eggs, fritatta, breakfast meats, yogurts, oatmeal, etc. All of the breakfast food and coffee and teas were delicious and exceptional quality. The breakfast staff were super friendly and always replenishing when needed.
The wine and cheese hour was another nice touch. All of the wines were local Sonoma wines and great quality! At night they had fresh baked cookies out.
I can't say enough about this hotel, from the wonderful staff and beautiful accommodations we will definitely be back when we come to the area and I will highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Why stay in noisy crowded San Francisco when you can stay at Hotel Acqua right over the bridge!
Orr only complaint is we had to leave!!!

Splendid luxury, great location

Ah, a peaceful escape with a great location. Easy access to downtown San Francisco across Golden Gate Bridge or spend the day in the quaint Sausalito. The junior suite is spacious, with a warming fireplace and a massive bathroom! The balcony opens up to wonderful views. The breakfast buffet is refreshingly different - with a variety of fruit and pastries amongst the usual suspects. The wine and cheese reception is nice treat for the grown ups and warm cookies for the kids (well, and grown ups!)

Clean and Relaxing!

Even being located near a busy freeway and frontage road, this hotel hits some sweet spots. Most all rooms look to be facing pretty water view. Rooms are quiet inside, bikes are available for checkout, evening wine and cheese, and later on fresh, hot cookies all add to a fun stay. Bedding is very comfy. To top it all off is the lovely breakfast layout in the morning!
Veggie frittata, crisp bacon and much more.

Business Trip to Mill Valley

I just stayed, Mar-9 thru Mar-11 for a short business trip - first time to the hotel. Absolutely wonderful experience. Checked in late Thursday - missed the wine & cheese, but the gentleman at the front desk pulled out the wine and after reviewing my options, I was off to my room - with a nice glass of pinot noir - and a couple fresh cookies... ;)

Breakfast options were excellent - coffee, tea, cappuccino - hot & cold items, fresh fruit, etc, plus a great view to go with your meal. The daily wine & cheese at 5pm was very nice - selection of red & white wines. I was traveling solo, and it was nice to plate up and take my snack outside to enjoy the sunset and call home. The 2nd floor atrium had a fireplace going, and was a quiet sanctuary as it got a little chilly.

Room was spacious & clean - big flat-screen TV, loaner mountain bikes to ride local trails, and a nice local trail for walking or biking, right out back.

Definitely a nice location and recommended if you're in the area.

Nice hotel with AMAZING staff

I was at the Acqua Hotel for an event, and I started to get sick from lack of food! As I was searching deliriously on my phone for food, with my blood sugar so low I was shaking, Jennifer kindly offered to drive and get me food from the nearest store. The hotel is clean, updated, and spacious for the Bay Area, but the service is beyond my expectation. Thanks, Jennifer!!
