Excellent B&B

We had an excellent two night stay here. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was served in the conservatory overlooking the fabulous grounds and garden. The swimming pool looked inviting but we didn't have time to test it thoroughly. The thing we missed was the lack of a decent restaurant either in the hotel or in the town. The wineries are only open for lunch but good wine needs good classically cooked food which allows the flavour of both wine and cooking to shine through. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Fabulous as always !

19 local ladies went here for brunch yesterday and it was a wonderful event as usual. Daniela is a great host and a huge thank you to the staff, waitress, gardening, chef and housekeeping who yet again are simply the BEST. The breakfast was fantastic, freshly cooked and the buffet was so tempting, we all love this wonderful place the gardens and the friendly welcome.

Basildene is a little out of Margaret River but many people walk in to the town instead of driving. Beautiful gardens complement this lovely and relaxing hotel which is an old house that has been renovated and extended. Rooms in the old section are not large but have everything you need. Downstairs there are two lounge areas and a glassed in area looking over the gardens where a delicious breakfast is served with all day coffee/tea and afternoon snacks. Feels like home with lovely friendly staff.

Stayed for just 1 night here and was really impressed with the service and facilities. The whole place was spotlessly clean and the gardens are really beautiful. Would recommend this place as it is centrally located to see the wine region at Margaret River.

A beautiful historic manor set on expansive grounds. The gardens are amazing. Breakfast was divine and the accommodation and level of service was of a high standard. Max was very attentive on our arrival. A special place that we would definitely like to come back to in the future.
