Lovely place in the peaceful Marche
Reviewed 7 months ago

We loved everything about the Urbino Resort: location, view, food, spa, value and the people here. Our first day was spent celebrating wine picking and having a wonderful bbq. We chose a spa package and thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing spa day, especially as this was near the end of our Italian holiday. The grounds are gorgeous and the food in the restaurant was good. Excellent pizza. The Marche is stunning with green and earth colored rolling hills covered with vineyards; and cypress, poplar, plane and even eucalyptus trees. Quiet hill top towns and beautiful Urbino are are very close. In a short drive you can be on the Adriatic. We loved the resort and the area.

Away from the Hurly Burly

This is an estate located roughly equidistant from Urbino and Pesaro. The rooms are spread between a number of buildings and are comfortable. WiFi is free and fast.

As a result of its location it is quiet and relaxed.

Breakfast is excellent with fresh baked croissant and other pastries. Fruit comes from the estate and is also used in the jams etc. One eats this outside the main reception/bar area. There is also an indoors dining area.

The main restaurant for lunch/dinner is situated some 800 metres through vineyards should one wish to walk. There is a varied menu which was good.

Although there is a claim to gourmet pizza some of the choices actually amount to cultural appropriation from the Neapolitans. Pizza Rossini is an abomination with mayonnaise and quail's egg. Every Italian I have consulted shudders at this combination apart from those who hail from the vicinity of Pesaro.

Generally I would rank this as a great place to stay

Exceptional resort. The grounds and views are beautiful. The staff extremely attentive. The food was delicious especially the pizzas. We went mountain biking and running through the estate in the mornings..followed by a dip in the pool.. simply stunning. Can't recommend this resort highly enough

We could only stay a couple of days, but just enough to discover all good food, wine and dry gently staff. No time left to use the spa, but will go back ... that’s for sure!!!

Price quality is excellent!
