The Lowdown
Hotel Son Caliu Spa Oasis is a comfortable, stylish hotel on the western coast of Mallorca, just over a mile from the exclusive Puerto Portals port. With its beachside location, luxurious spa and selection of restaurants and bars, this retreat makes it tempting to do very little during your time here. However, if you're feeling energetic, tennis, yoga and paddle surfing are among the options on offer. There's also excellent golfing in the area, and the hotel offers exclusive discounts on all Mallorca golf courses.
The star attraction, far and away, is the hotel's spa, which covers more than a thousand square meters and comprises a wide range of facilities, including a Finnish sauna, Roman thermae bath and ice fountain. If you can tear yourself away from the hotel, Mallorca’s beautiful capital of Palma lies around 10 miles to the east, and the ultra-stylish harbor of Port Adriano sits to the west. There's even a new bike center on-site, offering rentals, making it easy to explore this beautiful Mediterranean island.
