How to Get There
Overall a pleasant Hotel with great amenities and friendly staff. The Location is superb. The issue was with the details. Food and evening buffet staff only mediocre. Food in general not as warm as need be. Wide range but not all items actually enjoyable as too cold or sitting too long. More freshness and in non-live food desirable. Staff in the evening restaurant a bit too arrogant for my taste. Rooms are nice but the open bathroom concept is only something for people who know each other well.
My mother and I had a lovely time a few days of sun. Hotel was what we expected.I was here on business. The rooms that face the car park was very noisy due to some work going on.But apart from that everything was great.
This was our first visit to illetas near Palma Mallorca. A short bus journey from Plaça Espanya, Palma. A very pretty little town.
The bus stopped outside our hotel which was very convenient and also to travel back to Palma, as there is not very much to do around here in the evenings.
We had a lovely greeting upon our arrival and offered a complimentary glass of cava. There was also a selection of small cakes, water, coffee etc in reception.
Our room was very clean and a little sea view as it was to the side of the hotel. We had been given an upgraded room from the standard one we had paid for and very nice it was. Fluffy dressing gowns and slippers, fully stocked mini bar, plenty of storage space, large glass walled walk in shower with a large powerful shower head. Usual complimentary toiletries with some additional extras, very nice. Our room had been cleaned to a high standard. The bed was amazing. So unbelievably comfortable with a selection of pillows of differing comfort levels. A perfect nights sleep.
We ate the first night in the Mediteraneó Restaurant which was a buffet style. Delicious varied dishes for a very reasonable €21 per person (without drinks)
There is also an Al a carte restaurant too.
Breakfast. I think I can happily say this was the best breakfast Wev both had in a hotel for a long long time. An excellent selection of cooked meats, cheeses, breads, hot and cold vegetables, omelettes, smoothies etc. Plus unlimited amounts of cava and fresh orange juice, good quality coffee and teas.
They have a spa area with a sauna, pools etc which are free to guests. Treatments are extra. The outside pool was large and very clean with stunning views overlooking the sea and coastline.
All aspects of the hotel were modern and very well maintained. The cocktail bar/lounge is also a relaxing place to enjoy a g & t in the evening, either listening to live entertainment, which was in the form of a great saxophonist and guitarist on the first two nights. Or you could sit on the terrace and enjoy the sea view. The young bar man serving us was very friendly, helpful and polite. He offered me a warm blanket as we sat on the terrace, nothing was too much trouble, which can be said of all the staff here.
A most enjoyable stay. If we come back here to Mallorca, we would definitely stay here. A really lovely hotel. Thank you to all the staff, you are all a credit to the Barceló chain.
Really had a very nice 5 day break at the hotel for my wifes birthday which the staff made special . The staff were excellent and we could not fault the breakfast great choices. We had evening meal on 2 occasions, very nice buffet choice. The rooms were very good with a nice view of the sea and bay. I had a rental car but the bus service into Palma was very good with a stop ouside of the hotel. Will definatley stay at the hotel again next year.
We loved staying here!! I would say I’m a picky perfect when it comes to vacationing and I can’t say enough great things about our honeymoon stay! Room 502 was absolutely perfect with gorgeous views! The bed was huge, room was clean and the staff was so nice and helpful during our stay! Breakfast is to die for and there’s so many options to choose from! -plus it goes to 1030am which is a bonus! There’s not a whole lot around the hotel but we found a few great local places to eat - one was called Infuze and I would definitely recommend! The hotel was between two great cities and to get to Palma we took a bus for 1,50 euros and it was super simple to do! Plus a great way to save money on transport! If you’re looking for a nice, calm and peaceful resort- this is it!
