Spotlessly clean and well appointed hotel in Portland. Really no complaints.
Good location and lots of stuff is walkable.
Bathroom was large. Room was quiet. There is a minimum amount of carpet which is nice.

Nice stay

We had a nice stay at the Press Hotel. Nothing memorable and the hotel could do so much more to be a great experience. The biggest issue we found is that the staff is amateurish and, although enthusiastic, gives you the feeling they have no clue what they are doing. From check-in to departure everything we asked had to be discussed with a manager and always 'the computer was not very cooperative'. For over $400 a night you expect much more.

Exceeded our Expectations!

It's an Autograph so expectations are hight going in, and despite this they exceeded our expectations!

We were there to see family, and it turns out part of our "family" ended up being everyone at the Autograph.

It started with Nick picking us up at the airport. Nick is so friendly and a great ambassador for The Press.

AJ was terrific at the front desk. We wanted to get some flowers to take to our family and he arranged to have Nick take us to get some.

The on-site restaurant and staff there, Garrett, were terrific.

We won't stay anywhere else when visiting Portland.

A true quality hotel, top to bottom

I could not be more happy with my stay at The Press Hotel than I am. The hotel prides itself in personal service, and they exceed! Every staff member I encountered was courteous and helpful. I visited during a time of extreme cold outside, but my room was perfectly comfortable. Each meal at Union was delicious and my latte from Inkwell was wonderful. With the cozy seating, beautiful artwork everywhere, and the fireplace in the lobby area, I wish I had the time to just sit down there with my coffee. The valet and doormen were friendly. The art gallery downstairs along with the beautifully decorated meeting spaces make for a visually appealing space. This hotel is a true gem in a fun and vibrant city. I will be back again.

A brief and lovely visit!

W/hat a wonderful hotel. The staff was exceptional, the room was a little small but lovely. So many fun details, loved the quotes in the room at every turn. The carpet in the halls. Really clever. I will be staying at the Press whenever I am in Portland from now on because it really is just terrific.
