How to Get There
Have stayed in this hotel before because of its location. This time we stayed here for 10days.
And given a letter with coupons for 15% at their spa.
I was embarassed because they asked where the letter came from. It came from the hotell.
And they checked it and all was good. Till I was gonna pay. They had to check again even when the spa lady who Done my nails told the cashier that its already checked.
The staff on the floor is great, but not at the front desk! No smiles. And they kept speaking freakin english when I speak filipino and told them I understand filipino better.
They called as twice during our stay to ask how it was and If there where something else we need after 9pm. I was sometimes already sleep at that time depended on what we did during the day.
And I did call the front desk for assistance because our SDB errored b4 we where leaving. We where late cause it took more than hour to fix it. Had to call twice to get help.
And waited for over an hour to get batteries for the scale.
H20 is not what it used to be.
Even the safety is not the same.
Anyone Can get in at anytime. The guards doesnt ask what they are doing there.
Like one evening i came back to the hotel around 10pm. There was this Guy behind me, whom i let go before me. Cause I didnt want to be followed. He went into the hotel entrance. The security guards didnt do anything they just let him in. It didnt look like he was a guest. Cause he just went in and out.
And yes the corridors are noisy.
We’ve stayed at this hotel Every year we visit the Philippines, for the past 5-6yrs.
So we noticed the changes. Pls value your returning costumers better.
Shame really as theres some lovely touches but even the hypnotic fish tank wall and small but decent smoking room doesn't make up for the paper thin walls, no plug sockets, small smelly fridge and pricey restaurant. It was the noise from the next room which was the biggest pain but crawling under desks for plug sockets wasnt great either. It was alright at the end of the day, and the fish are super pretty, but wont be rushing back.
Hotel H2O is unique because it has rooms with big aquarium as walls. It is relaxing to watch the fishes swim by. Food at Makan is above average and reasonably price. The terrace at Makan is a good place to watch: i.) the sunset; or, ii.) early morning activities at Manila Bay, like several dragon boat teams doing their practice. The hotel is a great place to relax.
Lcation: Good but would not walk around at night
Room: Clean updated decor (no aquarium room)
Nearby: not much very close but hotel offers many little shops and restaurants
Other: Property includes water park and other water attractions
Best way to get around: Grab..also great way to get food..very reasonable prices and delivery fees.
Breakfast: ok, me at not included other than ham you can add to omelet
Overall good experience
Nice view on bay side
This was already our 2nd stay at Hotel H2O. Our first stay was in Feb. 2018. During both stays, we truly enjoyed ourselves. The Aqua room and Jellies room were so beautiful and relaxing. We could watch the tank for hours! Beds were comfy and bathrooms were clean. There were restaurants at Ocean Park which is connected to the hotel. Staff are very helpful and courteous.
