Very accommodating, they even arranged our flowers and banner on our request, friendly staff, great view of the bay from the room even the weather is not cooperating due to typhoon “Domeng”, still great staycation.

Reservations: I worked for a MONTH ahead of time securing two rooms for myself and a group of friends for a late weekend May Visit in 2018. I emailed the concierge Johnrin (who is hands down one of the best service associates I have ever worked with anywhere) about airport transportation and allowing my friends to check in ahead of my arrival time.

First the car pick up: I had arranged through Johrin weeks ahead of time for my guest to accompany the hotel driver to the airport to pick me up. This was no problem. After arrival at the hotel this was a problem. They couldn't allow my friend to accompany them even though it had been arranged. Then my flight was delayed in Tokyo for two hours and they wanted to charge me a fee for a change in pickup time. Are you kidding me??? We told them to forget it and used our valet for that pickup.

Room Charges: I had reserved and prepaid for the Executive Suite and a Premier Suite ahead of time. Apparently there is a 2000 PHP deposit that has to be collected on check in. I asked reservations to allow for a 30000PHP limit on room charges in case my guests needed something before I got in. They knew I was coming in from the USA that evening. They made a HUGE production of having to have me scan and send my AMEX via email with a written confirmation to approve what can only be a nonsensical amount of money outside of the Philippines. This was after I prepaid nights for their most expensive rooms prior to arriving. After all that paperwork was submitted their "bank" said they needed 3 days to approve that charge...What? I own a business and it takes our processors 1/1000th of a second to approve a charge. SO much drama for such a ridiculous amount of money.

If it wasn't for that drama this would have been a five star stay.

The executive suite was nice with the in floor hottub overlooking the bay. The rom was clean, bedding comfortable and housekeeping did a wonderful job. Same can be said for the Premier Room my friends were occupying.

On site restaurants were excellent as well. Good service and overall good food. I enjoyed the egg station and breakfast buffet the most.

The hotel is cool. Themed well for the area and is located right on the bay. If reservations would have shown a little more respect to the needs of an out of country traveller I would have rated it much higher. I understand there are scammers and theives out there but after a month of interactions with a customer, and a sizable deposit collected, one would think that issue would have been solved long before check in.

Johnrin did an exceptional job on the front side of this excursion and we appreciate his help and are happy to memorialize his exceptional service here on TripAdvisor. Thank you again for your help and after the check in we had an overall incredible stay. Unfortunately the hospotality experience starts at reservations and continues to check out.

Great view, great service, great food, great people and accomodation. Everything in this place is great. The place is located at the heart of Manila. Accessible to all main roads and you have the sea and fish to keep you company. Good job you guys!

My parents were booked for May 22 - 24. We arrived at the Hotel at 11am, luckily there was an available room already for us to check in. We had the Aqua Room with a king bed, it was quite small and the walls are a bit thin but the room was very clean and the aquarium is really such a nice sight especially for the kids.

The Hotel Staffs are very very friendly - from the receptionist, to the lobby personnel, housekeeping and the Makan Makan staff (including the room service staff). They are very respectful and will really greet you with such lovely smiles.

The only people I kind of didn't like are the ones from the Coffee Shop at the ground floor (Garden cafe? I'm not too sure with the name of the coffee shop) - no hi, no hello, no thank you at all. The staff just asked me for my order and then that's it. I know that it's a self service establishment and all but come on they can't even bother to smile at their customer?

All through out the stay we decided to just eat at Makan Makan since we didn't want to go out and order food outside (because if you order food from outside the establishment you will have to go to the ground flloor to pick up the food which we didn't want to do) the only time we ate at North Park was during the 1st day. There were some food in Makan Makan which is a bit expensive but some were just okay. I love their Chopsuey and crispy pata.

Since my nephews are really enjoying the staycation we decided to extent it for 1 more night. The kids went to the pool, it's fairly clean though you will smell how an aquarium or an oceanarium really smell, since the pool is next to the sea lion exhibit, still tolerable and understadable.

All in all it was quite a pleasant staycation :)

My mom gave me a voucher for a 1 night stay as a gift to my son a gift his 7th birthday

I can let go of the fact that the comfort rooms dont have privacy, water leaks from the bathroom, the bed was poorly made, no one assisted us, the walk from the room to all their amenities is too far, room is small... So these are the basics...

What i found horrible is our check out. I was advise to sit on one pf their couches as they check the room and this lady comes up to us about 7 feet across the floor and his very nice loud voice said "ma'am did yoi saw a bath mat, bec we are missing one from your room"

1. There were no bath mats 2. No checklist to advise us what should be on the room 3. WTF are you humiliating us infront of everyone?

Based on my research this is not the first time they accuse their guest of stealing.. I challenge them to check my bags even our car, check their cameras and all their head say.. No, we are missing a bath mat.

I was, my family was humiliated infront of all the guest.. And btw they did the same to the foreighn couple who they confronted on the same couch and anyone within the 20 feet radius can hear their manager speaking rudely to this poor couple...

DO NOT STAY HERE......!!!!!!!
