Hotel Los Arcos is wonderful

This hotel is awesome. The quiet central patio seems a world away from the tourists right outside the door. The staff is attentive: one of the receptionists came to our room to remind us of the time change because of daylight savings. We had a trip planned and might have missed the bus if she hadn’t stopped by. Best if all, the owner has made it her special mission to help save stray dogs. She rescues them, cooperates with a vet to neuter the dogs, and gets them rabies vaccines and flea treatments. She also works with the local population to adopt strays. A fresh bowl of dogfood and water is always available at the front door of the hotel for any hungry street dog.

Great rooms with comfy beds. The restaurant has good good as well.

Hotel Arcos is well located...just around the corner from the plaza, but without the noise. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Didn't get to try the restaurant because it is separately operated and was closed.

Very good

We stayed here a couple days during our stay for the weekend before Our Lady of Guadalupe day. The hotel is "very" convenient to everything. (The town was very, very busy and active) It's just a very short walk to the Santa Preista Chruch/Square where all the activities are during the evenings. We don't speak much Spanish at all, but we had no problem checking in and getting a comfortable room. The rooms are spacious and private. They did supply us with some shampoo/conditioner and lotion. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. It was easy check-in and check-out. It could get a little noisy at night so be prepared for a little high noise level (traffic, horns, bangs from maybe delivery trucks). The beds were soft and comfortable as were the pillows. There were stairs to get to our room. There's also a restaurant on the bottom floor that has free wi-fi. Our phones worked in our rooms but we have unlimited data and just used that. Our room had a "big" closet which also had an ironing board in it. I don't remember seeing a blow dryer in the room so you might want to ask to see if they'll supply one when you check in. I'd definitely stay here again because you just can't beat the location or the price. You can walk to so many things!

We would stay here again.

This hotel is extremely convenient to the main square, is fairly quiet at night, has great water pressure, hot water, and comfortable beds. Next door has great coffee for in the morning also. The front desk and all staff are friendly and helpful, and check in and check out were easy and painless. We would stay here again without hesitation.
