Easter 2019

I was extremely pleased with the accommodations and the staff. However, the bathroom had long strands of hair...in several locations. I assumed it was from the previous guest...kinda of made me frown. Also, I called for a bottle of water and extra towels at 6:45 am and I was told that housekeeping would not be in until after 7...I would receive the water and towels at that time. I told the operator don't worry about it. The Omni or Four Season would have sent a bellhop or valet if necessary. Other than those two incidents...everything else was GREAT! Beautiful property...great breakfast, EXTREMELY nice staff...including Valet. I loved the VIEW!

Excellent location

Very good location to reach everywhere by walking. Good and friendly service. Clean and spacious rooms. Only disadvantage is no swimming pool. Breakfast is also rich. You can find variety of preparations for picky people.

Amazing time in New Orleans

River Suites were under renovation but we were placed in the newly renovated Bienvielle suite and it was fantastic. Spent time in both the green bar and river 127 bar with the best bartenders Jonathan, Clarence and Paige! As a frequent traveler, having last came here in December, I loved the new room renovations and being remembered by the attentive staff.

Johnathan Is Excellent

Jonathan is excellent and made this stay awesome. Westin NOLA is "goals" 4 diamond hotel with a spectacular view of the river and 5 diamond service from Johnathan. Also kudos to Bonita and Byron. The only place to stay in NOLA!

Nice place

When booking we read many mixed reviews so we were not sure what we were getting into. However, our experience with the hotel and staff was wonderful. The lobby of the hotel is on I believe the 11th floor overlooking the river. The view is very nice. We ordered drinks at the bar and enjoyed just taking in the view after a long drive in. The desk clerk Louise was very sweet and professional and gave us a very nice room on the 18th floor overlooking the business district as well as a partial river view. The bell hope, Tyree, was very pleasant and gave us some great dining directions. Our room was clean, decorated nicely and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was nothing special but it was clean and decent size. The location was perfect and close to everything we wanted. The only issue we had were some extremely loud neighbors. Security was able to help with that for the most part. I would suggest trying to get a room without an adjoining door to help limit neighbor noise. Other than that it was a great stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
