How to Get There
10 blocks from
French Quarter not on Riverfront. Inquired about upgrading (paying) room said that was not an option but hotel seemed empty. 2 of the 4 streets are under construction and inaccessible this was never disclosed by 1800 Omni. On a positive note it was very clean and bell staff was extremely friendly and attentive s
great hitel. calm location. facing thr convention center and a big outlet mall. friendly staff. 5minutes walk from french quarter and canal street. plenty of restaurant around it. big clean rooms. all in all i would recommend this hotel
Had a wonderful stay here! Close to the convention center, we were within walking distance to the WWII museum and the French Quarter. We had a bit of a challenge getting around the with the construction out front, but was still central to a lot of sites and great food!
The rooms are clean and recently updated. The beds were comfy and not overly firm or squishy. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. They were running a bit behind for check-in. We did not get into our room until an hour after the check-in time, but that is the pace of New Orleans sometimes! The staff was helpful storing our luggage and meeting any requests.
The lobby was inviting and a wonderful place for drinks and relaxing. The restaurant served some decent food. We tried it for breakfast and it was serviceable. Honestly, not much to write home about but decent enough.
Would definitely recommend for a comfy stay away from some of the craziness of the quarter!
