The perfect place to stay
gambrepm

If you want it all, they have it.. There is always something you wish you had when you stay somewhere, but I just couldn't find one bad thing. It was the perfect stay which I never say from the great room viewing the river so I could watch the barges to quick elevators that choose for you, to snack bar, real bar, restaurant, coffee vendors and location to go in any direction quickly. I really enjoyed this location and look forward to the next time we visit. Staff was always friendly and courteous in each area from Valet, front desk, to snack bars and bar.
The M-club served a large array of great food and they made great coffee downstairs.
The pool was very nice and situated in a great private location on the roof. The workout room had just enough for anyone to be satisfied with what is available to work out.
The room itself was not huge but adequate and comfortable as well as the bathroom and closet.
The only negative was the laundry room. There were 3 washers and 2 were not functioning correctly. There was no way to get change as that machine was also not working. The upside was that an attendant happened by and offered me some detergent but I still had to leave my clothes to run down to the lobby and find change which was quite annoying. I will notify them directly about that.
Overall I wouldn't change a thing and highly recommend this as the perfect place to stay.

Convenient hotel in the heart of it all

Marriott New Orleans was a great property. I throughly enjoyed the convenience to everything you would need. The hotel is located about 3 blocks from Bourbon, however you would never be disturbed by all the action on the street. If you need the street trolley to any of the sites, it is located directly across the street, however all the tourist attractions are walking distance. You have a nearby CVS, Walgreens, lots of places to eat and drink. The hotel amenities were amazing. Beautiful outdoor pool located on the 5th floor, fully equipped gym to burn off all the calories you will consume and room service if needed. I would highly recommend.

We stayed at this hotel 5 nights. Check in was easy even though it was crowded. We got room 3024 with a great view of the Mississippi River and downtown. The bed was extremely comfortable. The ice machine and vending was across the hall. The staff was extremely professional and helped in every way needed. The only downside is the bathroom was extremely small. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
