How to Get There
We had a great time staying at the international house hotel. It's closer to everything, the French market, Café du monde, great restaurants. We walked everywhere from this hotel. The room had big windows, natural light, great view. The bed was super comfortable.
Very conveniently located at the heart of everything in NOLA. The hotel is nice and clean, and the staff was great, also the bar is an excellent place to chill. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Can’t complain about this boutique hotel very conveniently located at the heart of everything in NOLA. It’s 2 small blocks or about a 2 minute walk to the French Quarter. The place is clean, well-decorated with some classy interior design and rare collection of art to appreciate. The bar is an excellent place to chill and the whole staff is friendly, courteous and so helpful.
Highly recommended. Five star experience for me and my wife.
Got to hotel in pouring down rain and doors are locked. Beat on door, could see desk personal but no one opened the door we got rained on for 15 minutes ubtill a quest with the keypass opened door, we entered. It was probably necessary during Mardi Gras to keep doors locked but need some way for an incoming guest to get in, maybe a 2 way speaker? Then several times we were going out but the door was locked from the inside (I’m sure that violates a fire code) and no keypad on the inside, just the one on the ouside! Hotel was nice but nothing to write home about. First hotel I’ve stayed at in the last 10 years that didn’t have a coffee maker and microwave in the room, but did have a mini fridge.
We stayed at IHH for two nights on our Spring Break road trip to Florida. The hotel is nice and clean, and the staff was great. The room we were in didn’t have windows (1105), which was great for sleeping in! We did not visit the bar, as we had my 12-year old with us. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
