This hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the city with easy walking access to Bourbon & Canal street. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms were well appointed and for the price. We most certainly enjoyed our stay.

I thought the hotel was nicely positioned in the French Quarter, near to shops, restaurants and night life. You are able to walk from this hotel to river side, out let shops, Armstrong Park and Bourbon Street etc.
Negatives we were given a room which backed on to Atruim where they held small meetings, birthday parties and pain relief meeting. Which meant we could not open our curtains because they were always moving furniture around so you could not gave a sleep in they afternoons. We did complain and they offered to move us but then was told there was nothing else on which was a complete lie, so consequently we didn't move but wish we had. We also had cockroaches which they said that would spray the room, unsure if they did or did not.

“Room” for Improvement

Lobby/1st floor are very nice. Staff is wonderful! Powdered Sugar Cafe and Red Fish Grill were great in terms of food and service.
Hotel is in a great location.

We asked for a quiet room - overlooked a courtyard.

Room floors and hallways could use some updating - hallway walls and carpets were dingy. Room windows were dirty - sheets had small holes, but were clean. Bathroom was nice.

Pool patio was in need of repair - loose tiles.

Beautiful property, quiet location

One of the best hotels in the French Quarter! Only negative comment is the room had no chest of drawers for clothing. The room was spacious and bathroom bright and spotless. Staff is top notch and the property is so nicely maintained.

Business Conference @ this hotel

Would give a 5 overall except for the parking. Typical issues with New Orleans parking. Would have been nice to have Valet assistance @ the Canal St. doors -- as I arrived in the early evening they may have closed out the Canal St. Valet for the day. You have to go down to the next Right turn one way and then circle back to another street to get to the Valet parking. Awkward but nothing they can do as this is how the street run in N.O.

OTHERWISE everything was great !! Room was quiet for being in the French Quarter on a Friday night. Nice ambience around the pool. Easy access for the meeting.
