How to Get There
This may be my new favorite hotel in the French Quarter....just a few steps from Borboun Street but also a quite oasis afterwards. Added bonus of super comfty robes and great in room coffee. The staff was very welcoming and attentive.
The staff was really friendly, the beds comfy, and the food served (I was at a convention) was excellent. It's just a short walk to Bourbon St and rather centrally located. I'd definitely stay here again.
The service was good while we were there.
After the fact is why I'm rating the hotel a 1 star. I paid my bill in full when i checked out of the hotel on August 25, 2019. I was charged $500 on October 11, 2019 - for what, I'm still not 100% sure. I've been told it was due to another hotel guest not paying their bill. I booked under a block of rooms for a wedding party, but only one room, my room, was associated with my card. Myself and multiple other guests associate with the block were charged due to a guest not paying their bill. I have been unable to contact anyone at the hotel since the charge was discovered. The hotel has been vague about the issue to the guests that have talked to the hotel. Even Hyatt corporate seems to be unable to reach hotel accounting about the issue.
I have contacted the BBB about this and the issues about resolving the problem. Other guests have as well.
