Bedroom Luxury Modern Suite property desk cottage home

Sleepy French Quarter boutique hotel with rooms and suites wrapping around a leafy brick courtyard

The Look

Most rooms and suites wrap around a verdant brick courtyard anchored by a European fountain and surrounded by a wrought iron gallery, making it the hotel’s centerpiece. A small lobby with comfy leather furniture welcomes guests entering from Bienville Street, and double doors open from the courtyard to a lovely breakfast room; eggs, bacon, grits, coffee and other hot eats can be enjoyed there or alfresco in the courtyard.

Bed and Bath

Black marble floors and crystal light fixtures gloss up the simple but spacious guestrooms. Dark wood furniture and headboards are embossed with gold leaf, and burnt orange leather chairs tuck nicely in the corner and under wired writing desks. Business travelers and revelers, alike, will also appreciate free WiFi, iPhone / iPod docs and 42-inch flatscreens. The black marble extends into the bathrooms, where walk-in showers are standard, as are double vanities.

Just off the hotel’s courtyard, behind an iron gate that opens onto Bienville Street, Patrick’s Bar Vin isn’t just one of the French Quarter’s only wine bars, it’s an oenophile institution. Local connoisseurs keep their choice bottles in on-site lockers, coming in to uncork ’em with Patrick Van Hoorebeek, an award-winning former maître d’ who also leads the Krewe of Cork. Cozy up in a corner with a Pinot, or sip your self silly in a lovely courtyard by the cherub fountain.

Fantastic hotel.....everything about is is great. Rooms very nice, quiet air con, great bathroom. Concierge service very good, some great advice on restaurants and trips. Breakfast excellent and can sit in restaurant or in the courtyard. Also good to have a bar on site which has very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend this hotel, it is very close to Bourbon street but we did not hear any of the noise at night from it.

Very nice hotel with a great location!

This is a wonderful quiet hotel near Bourbon Street. The courtyard was a great oasis getaway from the noise and heat of June in New Orleans. The jazz in the bar fun to listen with open doors out on the street. The staff friendly. Our hotel room very comfortable with a nice bathroom.

Good place to stay .

The hotel is in a great location in the French Quarter . Our room lived up to our expectations and was spotlessly clean with a daily maid service . Very comfortable bed and a great shower and bathroom . The breakfast was just as good . The only down side and reason its not a five was reception. Clueless and incompetent springs to mind .I thought perhaps we were being harsh and it was just a tired member of staff we got when we were checking in . But every time we approached reception it was the same clueless feel ,regardless of who we dealt with . A shame really because other that the reception we loved our stay here. I would say that this will not put us off, and would come back to this hotel. just know what to expect next time !
