Expected more from a Hilton

The service was mediocre. The sleeping situation was bad. The pillows, mattress and sheets were old and lumpy and super uncomfortable. The bathroom needs to be remodeled. Cracks and unchaulk surfaces are very noticeable.

Best CUSTOMER SERVICE, location, and beautiful hotel!
Reviewed 3 days ago

I can’t say enough about the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.

My husband works for an airline and we travel a lot. We have stayed at several 4 and 5 star hotels, and Hilton New Orleans Riverside is this one the best. They have one of the best staff and customer service we have encountered. Quinn & Ly and the whole front desk staff were one of the friendliest and most helpful. Looks like they actually enjoy what they do. Kudos to the manager for hiring personable, friendly, and competent employees.

Even as you walk around, the whole staff said, “hello, how are you?” Unfortunately, pretty rare now a days.

Hotel was very clean and well kept.

Because of the above we are giving this a 5 star rating!

Good service, comfy stay

Stayed here for 2 nights. The room was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The only issue we encountered was having only really hot water come from the taps. The hotel staff was unable to fix it..but we were compensated with a free breakfast at the hotel which was top notch.

Good hotel, handy for convention center and shopping
Reviewed 3 days ago

Stayed there recently for a convention. Good location for Convention Center and Riverwalk shops connect directly to hotel.
I checked in on line via the Hilton Honors app which I would strongly recommend as it allows you to choose your room - I went for a high floor with a river view (on the side of the tower block). Room was clean, good size with plenty of plug sockets, free wifi. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom clean with good shower.
Staff were helpful and efficient - one day i came back to my room at 5 p.m. and it had not been cleaned; however, I rang housekeeping and someone came to clean it within 10 minutes. The hotel was very busy (full) due to the convention but still good service.
Location wise, it joins directly to the Riverwalk shops and you can walk along the river (or get a streetcar) to the French Quarter / Jackson's Square etc.
I would recommend it again.

Great Big Box Venue for Conferences, yet friendly bars|gathering places
Reviewed 4 days ago

I was part of a big conference where, we have sessions, lodge and socialize pretty much in the same building, this location was great.
Kind folks, roasted oysters in the street level bar were great.....(bartenders there not so much......sorry)
On the waterfront, across from a Harrahs Casino, if you go for that type of action, nice place as well.
Can not speak very much about more of the foodservice, but location and employees up-front, very nice,
