Had a great time in New Orleans at this hotel. Everything was clean the staff was helpful and friendly especially shalita foe. What a beautiful person and woman, our stay would not have been as pleasant as it was without her. I would recommend this hotel and this employee at any time with the highest rating possible

Great Location with Helpful Staff

We stayed here on a recent visit to NOLA and this hotel was in a great location. A short walk to Bourbon Street yet far enough for a little peace and quiet. The staff was very nice and the valet guys were especially helpful with pointing out places to go that were good eats and safe. They were also nice enough to call a private car for us on our return trip to the airport that cost the same as the taxi and the driver was super nice. While there's a lot of seedy people preying on tourists or homeless laying in front of buildings there were none in front of this hotel which is adjacent to the Ritz. Once you're away from the hotel expect random people walking up to you asking you random things. Our room was a nice size and fairly clean with a more modern bathroom-walk in shower with good water pressure. Beds are outdated and it's definitely time for upgrades. They are fairly hard and make noise every time you move. Definitely not the most comfortable. There was also slight musty smell but it wan't overpowering. For the price and hospitality it fit our needs.

Good Location and Room

What we like about this hotel: This hotel is very close to the French Quarter, easy walking. The rooms are a great size, very spacious. We had a sitting area with a couch, TV, wet bar, small fridge at the front of our room. A nice bathroom with walk in shower and an adjacent closet. A separate bedroom with door to close out the TV noise in the living room area if one person wanted to sleep. The bedroom was a nice size, had its own TV, queen bed, end tables, and a dresser with loads of room for clothes.

Room service was fast, food was hot and good.

What we didn't like: No dining room or restaurant, no bar. There was a Starbucks that doubled as a bar but both were only opened limited hours. No pool, no outside sitting area. There was no reason to stay in the hotel except to sleep. No in-room safe but a limited supply of safety deposit boxes was available at the front desk.

Would choose a different hotel if we go back to New Orleans.
