Great location not so great hotel
Reviewed 2 days ago

I have to say the hotel is in a great location. The room on the other hand bot so great. First of there is no wardrobe in the room. There is just some sort of a hanger. So anything you hang is out in the open for dust etc. there are no slippers and the walls are so thin that basically i felt i was in the same room with next door. I cannot say it was the cleanest as well.. I will probably select another hotel for the next time.

Visiting New Orleans (Nawlins)

We stayed at the AC Marriott in New Orleans. Very new, clean hotel. Nice bedroom and bathroom. Also had a gym and laundry room. The hotel is near everything: Bourbon St, the French Quarter, Canal St, the street cars, bars, restaurants, shops. We walked everywhere as the hotel is centrally located. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

Booked this hotel for our stay in New Orleans pre-cruise. Booked the hotel because it was very reasonably priced and centrally located. Staff are very friendly and assisted us several times with directions, booking excursions and giving advice.

Rooms are clean and modern, as is the rest of the hotel. Beds in our room weren’t the most comfortable, but weren’t bad either. Our room has two doubles, which wasn’t great for our family of five, but doubles seem to be quite common now in some hotels.

There is no view from our room; only another building 5-6 feet away, so can’t really open the blinds and expect natural light or a view of the skyline, but not really a big deal.

Overall, the price, service and location is great. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Horrible Mess

No control over anything. Sure its NOLA. But letting guests party in the hall from 3-5 am is crap. Not in their rooms, in the hall and in the rooms. When asked, the morning (overnight attendant) said "yeah, we finally got them out of there" .....bar out of Pinot Grigio....really. No attention to detail. Great hotel, crappy staff, or better yet, I am sure the staff is cool, the mgmt has no idea how to inspire and run a hotel is my guess. - Never stay there.
