How to Get There
This room was disgusting and I was so disappointed. I work in hotels and this is supposed to be a high end one compared to the one I work in and the sheets were so gross, tons of stains, the headboard had a hole punched in it and the bath didn’t drain so we were standing in gross water the whole time. It was so bad. We are so disappointed.
Booked one night stay on line. And second night at another casino. At check in I asked if we could stay both nights instead of checking out the next day. Hannah at the reservation desk was so helpful and made a phone call and got us the second night comped. She was sweet and pleasant and made everything easy. Thanks Hannah! Had crawfish at Jack Daniels. Good size but not enough flavor.
All ways have a fabulous time at L’AUBERGE casino. Never had a bad experience here. Fun times and free cocktails. Even got my breakfast free on my points. I play the quarter machine and sometimes the $5.00 High limit slots . Great rooms over looking there lazy river pools. See y’all in a couple months 🍹👍🤗
Enjoy the hotel, but the bed was horrible and the people next door had TV blasting and stayed up all night talking until 5 am. No hot water to shower, AC would did want to cool off. They hotel had a great buffet for $45.
So my mom, aunt and I stayed there recently. My mom requested a smoke free/hypo allergic room since she is asthmatic and has allergies. Well, when we arrive we get a room that was probably shampooed since the carpet was wet, and it smelt a bit of smoke down the hallway. We didn't say anything in that we hoped the floor would dry by the time we came back and figured we still had smoke scent on us since we had just passed by the casino. For most of the day we were at the casino, then at the Olivia Newton Concert and of course eating by the time we head up back to room it was around 3am. The floor was still wet, heavily perfumed from the shampooed carpet, still smelled liked smoke in the hallway, and we were put near an elevator. My mom wanted to go downstairs and request a new room, but I convinced her it would be okay since we would only be there a few more hours. Well I was wrong and should have had her switch. A wet carpeted room means a humid room and it was so heavily scented from the carpet being shampooed plus the smoke that you could smell and the noise from the elevator constantly going up and down means we had a horrible nights' rest. My mom has allergies and woke up with an allergic reaction in which she had to take medication for and pretty much ruined her weekend in Lake Charles. She promptly went downstairs and told the front desk in which they replied "Sorry, but we can't do anything. And you will have to make a report and we will look into it." So my mom declined since she didn't want to be held up for a few hours making a report (pictures, doctor, and etc) and we leave it at that and stay at the Golden Nugget. Well later that evening she checks her credit card and sees that we are charged another night from L Auberge. She calls them and then again mentions our horrible stay with them and that she would of let it go, but the fact they wanted to charge us for another night is pretty much inconvenience. So we head over to them and make a report as they request. No pictures were taken, No doctor needed but just a statement. They promised a call from the manager and we are still waiting on that call. We get to corpus and of course my mom had to go to the doctor and has been sick for about a week. Horrible rooms but the service was worse. Still waiting on that call which I am sure we won't get.
