How to Get There
Came for a group event. Check in was late, but the major issue was cleanliness of the room. There were crumbs on the floor that looked as if they were swept under the chair, in another room, there were pills that were on the floor when we got there. Fingerprints and dust all on the window and windowsill. Staff were nice, just hard to enjoy rooms that are subpar clean.
We went to the hotel lobby bar for an afternoon cocktail. Drinks were delicious. We met one of the hotel managers, Jamie Turnage, and she was so fun and friendly. She told us some of the hotel’s history, gave us a tour of some of the hotel and made us feel like hotel family. This is how hotel hospitality is done. This will certainly be our Baton Rouge hotel for future visits. Thanks Jamie!

We stayed here on the weekend. It was very quiet and the service was fast. The room was average and the view was not great. The restaurant was wonderful and the amazing server made excellent recommendations. The nice part about the location was it was right across from the river so you could take nice walks to the Navy ship museum or the casino.
Soon as I arrived, I was greeted by valet. Such great men they have over there. Especially Terrel, he has wonderful manners. The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms could be a little bigger! However, the food at the restaurant was good!
Nice property, good location and friendly service. I would certainly stay at this location again if in the area. The food at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. All of the service was friendly, but the bar and restaurant people were exceptionally friendly.
