How to Get There
Fantastic property staffed by well trained professionals who deliver a wonderful experience to each and every guest. Chef Naim at DoubleTree is remarkable in his culinary expertise. You won't be disappointed with any aspect of this fine property in Dulles VA.
I've been staying at this hotel for years and it's still the best in the area. Always clean and fully equiped. The staff at the front desk and executive floor are super. The room was clean and comfortable as usual with the best bed in the of many hotels of which I've stayed. Being near a mall, there are lots of places to shop and eat.
I was here just for a bit to rent a room for a park and fly situation, for which I got a great deal. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The hotel was certainly clean. However, the room furnishings looked somewhat beat up. They were not thread bear by any means, but it looks like the furniture had seen better days.
Nice hotel, good service, but be prepared for a long trip to the airport because of traffic despite the close location. The hotel was close to the location of my business meeting. Rooms are comfortable, climate system is good, and the service was very good. However, despite its proximity to Dulles Airport, the trip to the airport takes longer than expected - plan for that so you don't miss your check-in.
We were very pleased with our overnight stay at the DoubleTree. The price was great and significantly cheaper than staying closer to Leesburg. While this is considered an “airport” hotel, it far surpasses what I have experienced in other “airport” hotels. The location is close to Dulles (shuttle available), good restaurants, and shopping choices. The desk staff was welcoming and friendly both upon arrival and at check out.
We stayed in a King room and were pleased with the cleanliness, amenities, and the quietness of the room at night. It was nice to stay in a room that didn’t need updated and was clean and comfortable. The heater worked and was not too loud. Soaps and shampoos are good quality Crabtree and Evelyn products. The shower was great, with strong water pressure. We scheduled coffee to be delivered to the room in the morning and it arrived right on time, was hot, and tasted good.
This DT does have a full bar and a restaurant. While we didn’t eat in the restaurant, we did have drinks in the bar, which were good. The one complaint I do have is that I was charged $2.00 for “rocks” when I ordered a drink on the rocks. I found this to be outrageous to pay for “Ice”, because they certainly didn’t add a longer pour over the rocks!
Overall, we had a great stay at the DT and I will definitely stay here during future visits!
