How to Get There
From entering the hotel you can feel the great hospitality, ambiance and friendliness of the entire staff. Paradisus Los Cabos has been one of the best hotels my family and self had stay. The family concierge was one of the advantages we had in which we didn’t have to worry about making dinner reservations to the restaurants. We ate in all! The food was fenomenal the drinks amazing. Each member from the restaurants bars housekeeping, bellboys were absolutely helpfully and cheerful all the time. I would love to name each individual but cannot remember everyone, so kudos to all! Super Special thanks to: Our butler Ricardo, thanks for the great assistance and amiability during our stay. Incredible Housekeeping team who did both of our rooms, 4412 & 4512 (you know who we are the family of 8: Aug. 9-15!) Juan and the staff at Gabi Beach for the welcoming delicious food and other days, the seafood was incredible! David at the pool bar, thanks for the great cocktails you made us and the super cold beers! Manuel Bryan Tabata and the rest of the entertainment by the pool and Massage ladies we loved everything. Geraldo, Luciano at the Marquet Grill, we thank you for the excellent service out first day eating there and out last night, kudos the food was exceptional! Staff at Bana for great breakfast omelette and Hibachi night. All Staff at Mole for the amazing food! At Naos, Monica Juan Damaris Sonia for the lovely goodbye and great service. We felt right at home but BETTER! THANK YOU! SEE YOU SOON FAMILIA PARADISUS!!
This was one of the best family vacations we have ever had. The service here was amazing. My wife is from the hotel industry and said the training at Paradisus was very very good. They really treat all their guests like VIP. The family concierge was definitely worth it for us... welcome gifts, balloons and cookies every night, daily check-ins, restaurant RSVPs, beach recommendation, unlimited supply of snacks and drinks, etc.
We were most impressed with the sheer number of activities that the resorts lines up for the guests. Fire show. Burlesque show. Circus show. Movies. Live bands. Dining on the beach. Kid Zone activities.
We came here in August and it was super hot. Make sure to bring a ton of sunscreen. Take Uber every where you need to go. Don't rent a car.
Just returned from a 7 night stay at Paradisus Los Cabos with my wife and our 1 year old son - to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Having visited a number of resorts in Cancun / Riviera Maya, we thought we would venture in to Los Cabos..and I have to say, the Paradisus significantly exceeded our expectations. From the immaculate rooms to the extravagant architecture / layout of the resort itself and last not but least, the overall world class service...we were more than impressed.
We booked a family concierge gardenview suite and had a dedicated host (Ricardo) who was extremely friendly and attentive to our every need - mainly with daily restaurant reservations. He also arranged for our return pickup with Sunwing, our travel agency. We stayed in 4504 which is the highest floor level on the resort; rooms are immaculate, modern and spacious with a walkout balconey and high vaulted ceilings which set the general standard very high apart from most resorts we have been to. With the family concierge suites, you also get access to the family concierge lounge which is stocked with treats for children and adults (granola bars, cookies, pastries, etc.) as well as a dedicated check in / checkout service in addition to 24 hour room service with no surcharge fee. Personally, I felt we should've opted out based on the value...tipping will guarantee you great service.
Our favourite restaurants were Market Grill (French / Italian), Mole (Mexican), and Bana (Japanese), not teppanyaki) for dinner. The service and quality of food between all 3 were excellent. For breakfast and lunch, I would recommend Naos (buffet). We weren't big favourites of Gabi Beach based on the quality of food.
What was the most memorable for us was our favourite hostess Litzy at Mole who our 1 year old son, including us, were in love with. Whenever he was fussy, her smile and warmth just calmed everything down for him and us. You have a real winner here - she will do great things in her career and I would suggest the resort to capitalize on their best asset. Javier, the overall general restaurant manager, was our next favourite. The genuity and attentiveness that comes with his character really stood out to us. Special thanks to Carlos / Trainee at Naos who also deserves recognition for his hospitality and attentiveness.
Pool / Beach:
We loved the main pool here, it was large and spacious and we never had issues with getting a cabana. The drinks catered by Jesus / trainee were superb. On the other hand, I did feel there was room for improvement with the lounge / cabana side service. A few times we noticed Celio in particular forgetting us or sending out our orders to the wrong guests. Additionally, choice of music could be improved to include an updated / today's top hits list via Spotify. Sometimes we noticed YouTube ads cutting in and out of the morning workout routines.
In terms of the beach, we really appreciated it here given the natural conditions of the Pacific coast; strong tides, rocky sand. Unlike other resorts you could actually step in to the waters at Paradisus. The beach bar was also great - I forget the elder gentleman's name but he was very nice, great with cocktails, and also deserves recognition.
We didn't come here for much nightlife entertainment but as some of the other reviewers suggested, it's a bit lackluster compared to what we've seen at other resorts (i.e. magic show). We did enjoy the live bands and the fireshow looked interesting from what we could catch. Again, nightlife wasn't a dealbreaker for us given that we came with a 1 year old.
Overall, we loved the Paradisus and would definitely return back here! The overall quality and service was great and clealry indicative of a 5 star experience you would expect from an all inclusive resort. Although, I do think there is room for training some of your younger staff to be on par with those that are more seasoned. As for future guests, please tip for well DESERVED service, some of the staff do work very hard to bring their best efforts forward.
Cheers...until next time! ¡Hasta luego!
