How to Get There
One of the most beautifull hotel I visited so far : a perfect match of high end hospitality, most tastefull decoration and Customer care.
Located in the very center of the village of Los Cabos, Casa Natalia is a kind of luxury retreat. As soon as you enter the door, you notice the calm and peacefull admosphere, than you meet the smile of the receptionist who welcomes you as if you have just enter the house of a friend of yours…You will be amazed by the art pieces distributed all around and the colorfull decor, the flowers & plants...etc - Check with the hotel the different rooms possibilities before booking : if you can, take one of the suites (all different and unique).
We had visited the bar at Casa Natalia 5 years ago when in San Jose and have been looking SO forward to going back. So last night while at the Music festival with 3 other couples, I could hardly wait to take them!
1st disappointment was the level of the martini in the glass. It was like 2/3 full to the rim…. And I believe the prices have gone up about 20 %…. I was willing to set that aside because of the “boutique quaint” ambience…. We ordered a 2nd round as we had chosen the pick up the entire tab…
Server takes my credit card and then returns to the table explaining that my card didn’t work………. I was like ok maybe because I am in Mexico however have not had ONE problem as I know full well to alert my CC company before traveling abroad. So my husband hands them his PLATINUM AE (no limit) and the server return and says THIS one doesn’t work either! How embarrassing …. Our friends pulls out cash and pays the tab…. As we are walking out my husband talked to the “manager” who stated “OH BECAUSE OF THE FESTIVAL THE INTERNET is not working”.
Very disappointed that was not addressed prior to our ordering and then not explained to the entire table! I am not sure I will be able to talk him into ever going back ….
Beautiful rooms, friendly people and great service. Gorgeous courtyard with a lovely cascading pools against brightly painted walls and whimsical sculptures. Relaxing hammocks. Rooms are beautifully appointed – with flower petals on the bedspread when you arrive. We enjoyed delicious breakfast each morning, which was included for one of the rooms, excellent eggs benedict, French toast, yogurt parfait and eggs.
We got a 15% discount at dinner at their great restaurant – (see review for Mi Cocina).
Both days we used the beach club, which had great loungers under the shade (or sun) and beautiful secluded cove for swimming. One day we walked over to the next beach, which was great for walking but not safe for swimming. They waived the 500 peso/person minimum (maybe because it wasn't high season?) which made it that much nicer to take advantage of the easy access to yummy lunches and fun drinks,
