How to Get There
When we checked we were upgraded immediately to the Sandia Room ( Watermelon)
Room was on 1st floor....very spacious and VERY comfortable. The receptionist was ultra nice and accommodating. We ate at their resto ( Mi Cochina) and had several apps and the octopus......ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR. I tried the local craft stout Mantarraya and that was superb......a really good Guiness !!
Totally would recommend for San Jose !!!
I don't recall how I found out about this place, but I am so glad I did. We pulled in and parked in front, where they came out and took in our luggage and then parked the car for us. So easy. We checked into our room where we found an outside patio with a hammock, along with a table and chairs. Perfect place for our morning tea and coffee, while listening to the flowing water. The first day we discovered Raul and his top shelf margaritas and their 2 for 1 Happy Hour - it set the mood for the week. There are plenty of places to eat and drink around the hotel, all within walking distance. The hotel dining is particularly worth noting though. The food was so fresh and the service was impeccable. They appear when you need something and vanish when you need privacy. I must note, we did have one major issue that arose, but within moments of mentioning it to Nayelly, the problem was resolved. Everyone made us feel so welcome and they seemed so happy we were there. There is no place we would rather stay in San Jose del Cabo.
This boutique hotel was truly special. We came from an all-inclusive - somewhat restrictive resort to this true Mexican ambiance. The kindest people work at this special place. Our room was an upgrade and we had our own private patio. The room was decorated so nicely with plenty of space where we could have been comfortable for a few more days if we had them. The patio and pool area (and wall/garden decor) were very tasteful and comfortable. Best pool ever!
We had dinner there one night, the only customers during our time frame - and the dinner was as delicious as the service was outstanding. The best dessert we had our entire time in Mexico - Key Lime Pie, was here.
When and if I return to Mexico - I would stay here first and foremost.
Location was in San Jose Cabo, close to the mission/church. Not really walkable to all the shops/restaurants you see upon driving into San Jose. But enough walkability near the town square it is within. Restaurants, shops galore - and pharmacies everywhere you turn.
Lovely spot right on the town square in San Jose. Super easy to walk to shops and restaurants. They have a partner hotel on the water and for a nominal fee there is a shuttle between the hotels and you can spend all day using their pool and beach facilities. We went during their slow season and I think there were only 3 rooms filled. We had the delightful little pool to ourselves for 3 whole days. The service was 5 star with one of the highlights was a fresh mango popsicle poolside after they saw we finished our lunch. Delicious cocktails with a happy hour almost all day and their food was one of the best meals we had on the trip (we had appetizers by the pool and dinner in the open-air restaurant). Free coffee and tea in the morning. A great little spot.
My 2 girlfriends and I stayed here for a couple nights in July. We parked right out front with ease, quickly checked in with Cesar, and walked into town for live music and craft beer at Baja Brewing Company. We loved how quiet the grounds were (may be slow season but seemed like a secret oasis) and the rooms are charming AF with details like fresh flowers, hammock, and open concept shower. The shopping at boutiques and galleries were NEXT LEVEL wonderful, and the location of the hotel is so so convenient for those who enjoy walking and lax leisure time. We did enjoy a few hours at the beach club in partnership, however it was so windy that we did not stay for too long but the space was intimate and food superb. All in all, service was stellar here and we would definitely return here again.
