Luxe hacienda-style resort with a glam pool scene and dramatic setting between desert and ocean

The Lowdown

With a vibe that falls somewhere between St. Tropez and an Old World hacienda, this all-suite resort aims to lull guests into a state of bliss thanks to soothing sunshine-hued walls, tinkling fountains, vibrant blooms and, of course, the ever-present Sea of Cortez that laps the sand just out front. The all-inclusive room rate offers an impressive roll call of perks, from a welcome bottle of tequila to daily yoga classes and in-suite dining 24/7. Relax in a palapa on the sand for personalized facials and Mexican hot-stone massages at Sueños del Mar Spa, or cool off with a top-shelf cocktail (also included!) in one of the resort’s glam swim-up bars.

In the Area

Practice your swing at one of seven nearby golf courses, all designed by famous golfers and offering jaw-dropping ocean views. While you’ll likely want to make the most of your all-inclusive in-house dining options, head into Los Cabos to sample the hedonistic nightlife at a hotspot like Mandala, which offers the full velvet-rope, bottle-service experience—and the occasional celeb sighting. If your tastes run more to aquatic superstars, sign up with Cabo Eco Tours for a whale-watching adventure—humpback and grey whales spend winter frolicking in these waters.

Excellent staff service especially from Dave and Freddy. Quiet and restful with great ice cream. Pool is warm and there is a 'silencio' area near the pool and the beach. Very close to water so you can hear the waves at night going to sleep. A microwave in the room would have been helpful.

Great Boutique Hotel

What a great find in Cabo, wonderful rooms at reasonable prices. Restaurants are good, had dinner at the Sea Grill, where Senor Modesto and his staff provided excellent service. Other restaurants are good. The only bad we experienced was that they charged $2.50 for a small bottle of water that most other resort provide for free. Would return (with our own water supplies).

Decent hotel, good golf course

Room was good, not outstanding, but good for the price. Didn’t use the dining room as feature was a bbq on the beach that evening, but outstanding restaurant in the next hotel. Hotel staff were fantastic, couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. Golf Real was a great day, well maintained and in good condition. Only fault with the course was the halfway house restaurant. PAINFULLY slow, 30 minutes per order seemed average judging by the comments from other folks, not just us

Is a very charming hotel, the room is so spacious, and I love the decoration and the balcony, taht can be use to take sun. Everything is close because is not an enormous hotel, what I love. I didnt spend any dinner at the hotel, so I dont know about it, but pool and beach are great and sophisticated.

Lovely hotel with beautiful views away form the chaos. Good value. Sunday brunch was Excellent with lots of local dishes. Tripadvisor-- It's ridiculous you require 200 letters.... Fix this issue since many of us don't desire to write so much
