How to Get There
This is a beautiful facility witha a great staff. Victor and Samuel at the Taquila Bar are almost like family members.
They remember my wife's birthday from year to year. It really makes us feel appreciated. Edwardo the Shusi Chef goes out of his way to preare food that my wife can eat with her shellfish alergy.
We will be back to see our friends soon.
This is my 3rd time staying here - brought the kids this time. The staff is super friendly and it’s easy to book activities with the concierge.
One of our favorites restaurants was Tomatoes for breakfast - Chef Fernando and server Adelina were really awesome! Love the chef’s stories and my youngest, who won’t eat anything, loved his special croissant French toast. Adelina was always great and so nice - perfect service. They even cooked a fish we caught to perfection - made ceviche, tacos and fire grilled.
We will definitely be back.
What a horrible experience I just had.
The staff doesn’t speak English. I have diabetes 1 type and that happened my son spilled last juice I had for emergency. I woke up at 2 am with low sugar and went downstairs to get a soda or juice or sugar. But oops the guy didn’t understand a word I said so I had to use translator on my phone. Who knows what low sugar is can relate you don’t really have much time for that. The guy said he has nothing for me and no keys for the kitchen or a bar. And wished me a good night. I told him I may die in a few minutes if don’t take sugar. It’s emergency. Well after 5 min discussion he called a restaurant nearby and they brought the soda. I’m alive. And grateful he was cooperative. But my point is be ready no one gives a s*** about serious situations like this in this hotel.
Just before that situation they didn’t take my late food order. We arrived to the hotel late. And the girl at the reception said the restaurant would be opened till 10 pm. I made my order at 9:40. I was chasing the waitresses to make my order. I ordered quesadilla and a sandwich. She came back in 10 min and said they are closed now and wouldn’t make food for me and my son. I said my 5 years old was hungry can you give him at least something like fruits or cereal? We got the order at 10:15 and the watermelon in a fruit plate was rotten. I had to find a stranger to translate to the girl at the reception about this whole situation. She even didn’t apologize. I told her I wouldn’t pay for that. It took her another 15 minutes to call her manager or whoever it was to have their okay to not charge me for the rotten food.
I wouldn’t ever come back to this place
We loved our stay with so many different pools to choose from and only 10 minutes from downtown! Perfect location with great staff at the restaurants like Adelina at Tomato! Great stay with a swim up bar at one of the pools and an infiniti pool right off the main lobby. Great spa too.
Just returned from a Great Long Weekend celebrating a family friend’s wedding at this hotel.
The facility is wonderful, the restaurant and food excellent and the staff couldn’t have been better. Wish we stayed longer but will most definitely return.
