How to Get There
This is the fifth time we’ve stayed at Pueblo Bonito Blanco. Of all the hotels/resorts we’ve seen in Cabo, this is the one we like the best, due to its friendly and informal atmosphere, its intimate relationship to a beautiful swimmable beach, and its proximity to the hotspots of central Cabo. We’ve done the All-Inclusive package before, because we hate having to worry about each drink and each meal. This time we splurged on the Platinum all-inclusive package, due to its promise of our private concierge, access to premium liquor, and the ability to reserve two lounge chairs with umbrellas at our choice of spots on the beach, without having to go through the mad early morning scramble to reserve lounge chairs, which begins soon after dawn. In prior years we had children who would get up early to reserve the chairs, although even they would find this difficult. This year we didn’t have that option, so we went with the Platinum package. That aspect worked like a charm, and each morning our concierge Luis would have two lounge chairs waiting for us at the considerate hour of 11:00, in the second row (removed from the direct onslaught of beach vendors), and right next to the central stairs leading down from the pool area. Luis was excellent, and also made reservations and transport arrangements for dinners near and far as well as for activities such as whale watching. The only disappointment was with the “premium” beverage arrangements: we were expecting access to wine above the house level without an additional charge, as the house wines are largely undrinkable, but that proved not to be the case. Everything else about Blanco is excellent, however, and we will definitely return.
We have a resort confirmination, but was transferred to the less desirable sister resort Pueblo Bonito Rose. How does RCI and the resort both give you confirmations and you can’t get a room there? We had to settle for an all inclusive two day band. Better than nothing. The resort is super clean and staff was nice.
We go to Cabo every year, our most recent stayed was for a month, staying 3 weeks at Blanco and our final week at Sunset. Our whole month vacation was superb! All staff members were all professional, very pleasant and friendly. At Cilantros Adriana and Ignacio were amazing! Ignacio only needed one night to remember our last name and how we like our drinks, always had such a great attitude and happiness. Mario at Palomas was so friendly and gave excellent service! A BIG thanks to chef Daniel in Palomas who gave us our best dining experience when he personally cook our fresh fish from our fishing trip. We love you all! What an amazing group of people! Can’t wait to go back.
It's always a joy to stay at this resort being welcomed back by old employees and meeting new ones like Areli the hostess at palomas always greeted a smile along with Javier Wilbur Fernando Elizabeth Martin I know I am forgetting some and I am sorry,. Then there is the staff at cilantros..Martin behind the bar Gilberto demetrius Carlos and Leonardo checking on everything else. The server's on the beach and around the pool. All hard working and happy to be there.love our activities people. Sylvia Daniel Jefferson Alina and again I am forgetting someone.. The food is always a picture perfect experience. This year a big shout out to Dulce our housekeeper as I was sick a few days and stuck in bed she knew I wasn't well and gave me clean sheets during those day's and I sure appreciated it as I had sweated so much not to mention her excellent service and smile.unfortunately we can't get into the Blanco next year but I know we we have a great time at the Rosé.. Can't wait!
My husband and I came here with 2 other couples. We have been to many many all inclusive resorts throughout Mexico and Dominican Republic. This is not your usual all inclusive place. You are a second class citizen if you have the wristband on. We are generous tippers but were ignored many times. Every time you ordered anything you had to sign a receipt and give your room number. By the end of the week, you are so sick of it. Also they outright lie to you. I ordered Corona Light and he came back and told me he poured 2 Corona light cans in my bottle when I watched him fill it with regular Corona draft. Not a big deal, but just the point of it. Also, they try to get you to pay extra for things. They had a super bowl party (which was lame) and was charging 30 a couple - we later found out others were there for nothing. Then they had Tues night Mexican theme party (which was fantastic by the way) and tried to charge us, but we didn't take the bait that time. Positives - we liked the small feel of the resort and no loud music at pool. This is not a party hotel so if that's what you are looking for, go to Riu Santa Fe. The location is perfect. We walked to Marina area and also right down the beach is The Office, Mango Deck, and The Sandbar. Go early evening to The Office for the band. We also walked to Cabo Wabo which was great ! Fun energy ! Of all our travels, we've never encountered SO MUCH of vendors coming up to us trying to sell things constantly - on the beach - at the Marina. It was really bothersome. The hotel rooms really need updating badly - we upgraded to a one bedroom and it's very old - but the views were phenomenal. Nothing is stocked in the fridges as well. Make sure you take the hotel shuttle to the Sunset Beach resort, it's beautiful ! All in all, great vacation but won't be back at this resort.
